Steve jobs died

Probably died today. Why is Apple (and sometimes Steve Jobs) literally the center of so many conspiracy theories? It boggles my mind.

Don't really think it's a conspiracy, I would have done the same if I ran Apple and he died sometime earlier today or yesterday. The smart thing to do.

He died today. You're right that it was delayed, but his date of death is October 5th, 2011.

It could have been at 1AM or 5PM though.

I wouldn't describe Steve Jobs as an ostentatious or flashy person. He held a considerable amount of shares in Apple but only received a $1 annual salary - he earned his money by making sure his company did well. How many people now-a-days would actually take a job that paid strictly based on performance like Steve Jobs? Not many. Jobs didn't roll out to keynotes in fancy suits with expensive bling, just a black turtle neck and jeans. His appearance reminds me of a poor grad student if anything. RIP to a great innovator and icon.

Agreed. To me, SJ represents what one could become in the America we knew and loved. One where you could build a billion dollar company out of a garage. Not one controlled by Washington and Wall St. corruptions and greed.

He was the largest single shareholder in Disney. His net worth is mostly from said Disney stock. Something like 138million shares(6&#37. He more or less had a 1000% return on his initial investment into Pixar(bought it from Lucas for $5million).

I actually did find out on my iPhone. Love or hate Apple, he contributed a great deal to the tech world.
