He was good. Above the Law was a solid movie and under seige was good for cheesy cheap action. He's total sh*t now. That movie Glimmer man was one of the most insultingly terrible movies ever, not even considering the fact that he looked like an alcoholic in that movie. The man had a BIG beer belly and was trying to come off as this martial arts guy. Sad, sad.

Anyhow, the thing with Gene LeBell . . . he is a living legend . . . I wouldn't be suprised if that happened - and I've heard about that in several occasions, too.

His old ones rocked (marked for death, hard to kill, out for justice). But then he got fat and all spiritual or something, so they starting sucking hard. However he seems to have gone back to the hard core stuff (the latest one with DMX) and some other new one that I can't remember the name of. I wonder if they are any good....at least he looked a little thinner.

How'd you get "freaks" from what I said ? I very much respect those who have a respect for those kinds of things (martial arts). I'm fascinated just as much, but don't have the motivation/time to learn.

He also called a lot of the top MMA guys jokes and totally ripped on Saku while Steven Quadros was a fight advisor for one Segal's movies. I heard about the Gene Labell story too.

I have to admit, watching Seagal's movies is a guilty pleasure. I would watch his movies whenever they appear on TBS or TNT. It's amazing the effort he puts into making himself to be a super badass.
