I have the echo PAS professional attachment system. I use it around our 5 acres and in my handyman side business which has mostly been landscaping clean ups, fall cleanups, etc.

its fantastic. I have not had any problems with the feed head on the weed eater and I have never owned another weed eater that did not have feed issues on the line.
I also have the pole saw, blower and tiller. they have all been great.

I have a stihl chainsaw and honestly I wish I would have gotten an echo. its had its share of issues. i have used it quite a lot more than the avg. guy also. we have been heating with trees i have cut with it all winter this year.

Over the years I've seen many professionals using Stihl products, but never the Kombisystem. And I dont have any trees or hedges to justify it myself.

This guy seems honest

Since every link says "not available", I don't think the question really matters.
That said, I like Stihl gear, I don't like that's only available from authorized dealers.
Maybe you "misread" it?
It actually says "Not Available for Online Checkout ". If you allow the website to know your location, it automatically gives you the name of the closest dealer and the option of others in your area.
And, as you said, brand new (not used) Stihl products are only available from authorized dealers. Hilti, Snap-On, John Deere, entire Automobile Industry, etc = free enterprise

in my neighborhood we have a place called "Southern States" and they got just about every Stihl product you would want.

When I click them it says "Not Available", then the description of the tool.

the motors and attachments all show " not available for online checkout" for me, but shows the price at my local Ace Hardware store. (Closest authorized Stihl dealer)

I don't think you can buy Stihl gear online. Hence not available for online checkout.

Dunno about these multiple attachment systems, but definitely give echo consideration for your purchase. I have Stihl and echo saws, and have/had brushcutters from both. Stihl's worth what it costs, and feel the value provided is fair. With echo, I feel like I got more than I paid for. Absolute performance may or may not match Stihl and Husky, but they're solid, reliable machines.

edit:
BTW, I'm talking about Stihl's pro saws above. Echo compared to Stihl's homeowner stuff is no contest imo. I'd take echo every time.

I have had the echo system for close to 20 years. Solid as a rock.

Heck, my local shop you cant even buy their saws off the shelf. Saleman told me they have to go get one from in back and then run you through a "how to use it" speil and then get you to start it once before you can take it home.

I've used it with the scythe (like a hedge trimmer) and the tiller. The scythe works awesome for its purpose and the tiller is a little weak but that is to be expected with the size.
Do you remember which motor was on the unit?

Of course you need to already have a straight shaft Stihl. I bought the hedge trimmer and pole saw attachments. No problems so far (over a year). Of course YMMV

Edit: I HATE when folks use the words 'hack' and 'trick' in their videos, but it is what it is *shrugs*

I have a Kombi setup. Use the edger, weeder, blower and tree trimmer attachments. For a home user, I think it's a good way to go as you don't need the space to store separate tools and maintain multiple motors. How often do you really need to run a tree trimmer for example in a season. It will spend a lot of time sitting. If you run a lawn business, it makes more sense to have individual tools so multiple people can work at the same time and it doesn't give a single point of failure if the motor has issues. The only thing that I would consider buying separate is a backpack blower if you have a lot of yard. The stick blower is fine for smaller jobs, but gets heavy after awhile.
