nah, it's been about 4 weeks. most people jumped on this deal december 1st'ish... 8 weeks later puts us at the end of january beginning of february.

it's coming soon i'm sure.

I GOT MY ()%$(%*)@ CARD TODAY! HELL YEAH!... unusually enough, the GM card came in useful also, I paid my winter session college tuition with it. ...otherwise I wouldn't have had enough loot on my discover card alone to pull it off. WoohOo!


wondering now if i should invest in an Amex with BVG... and cancel this card...

Unbelievably, I was approved. Woo-hoo. Now to see if I actually get the Blockbuster card. Then all I'll have to do is find something I want there. They sell video games and stuff, don't they? I hope so...

I hate when CC companies try to push the extra protection BS. Paypal is the same way. The guy repeated himself about 5 times before I had to say "Did you not hear me straight? I've said no 4 times to the CC protection policy. Now please just activate my card because we're going in circles here." I swear those guys are robots.

So far I have signed up for credit protection with 2 cards...with one I got a certificate for $15 of free gas, the other a certificate for $25 of free gas...then turned around and canceled the credit protection.

Received my card on 12/8/02. Received BB GC today. I transferred a balnce to this card. 0% interest for 6 months and no transfer fee. Will make payments for 5 months then pay in full before due!!!

Well, got my Blockbuster GC today, exactly a month after applying/being approved. I didn't have to activate the credit card to get it either.
