Hey guys, I bought my R9 280X used, and I was wondering what the stock voltage on a reference model should be.
It's a PowerColor R9 280X (not the factory overclocked unit) and I found that the stock voltage is 1.075v, which seems to be a bit low.
Reason I ask is I'm trying to find out if the BIOS was flashed by the previous owner for mining purposes. Not that it matters really, I used MSI afterburner to set the voltage up to 1.15V on stock clock settings and all is well. At the stock voltage in the BIOS, games would randomly freeze.
On another note, these PowerColor 280x's do not take well to memory clock/voltage increases, nor do they show any positive effects on benchmarks. I can get the core clock up to 1170 at 1.3V, which seems to be ok.
