The guys that wear the Christian jerseys are not going to listen to anything that might be positive about the guys that wear the Muslim jerseys. It's this us vs. them attitude multiplied times many. Keep thinking this way and the division that exists will get even greater. Maybe that's what you guys want (and no, don't say "They did it first!" - grow up).
Muslims are people. They do things that people do. They are no different than you despite what you might be led to believe or what illusion you live under. They want to satisfy their desires just like you. If you keep watching the media and browsing the web you might feel differently. You might feel that these so-called Muslims are otherworldly and how different they are from you.
But yeah, keep digging these anecdotal articles and random stories. Yes, we know that certain people who wear the Muslim team jersey do bad stuff. So do who wear the Christian (or Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist) jersey. I mean, to be honest, the countries that are armed extremely well with the most sophisticated weaponry are not Muslim. But that's another topic for another time.
To repeat, in the big picture, this Islamic boogeyman is irrelevant. Just live your life and don't let your fear and prejudice (and maybe hatred) lead you to many, many assumptions. You'll be a walking judgement machine that's going to spread even more fear than is already out there.
