Don`t get mad a me for this persons thoughts! I am just the person posting of the article......
Of course she might know better than most...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/stop-saying-islam-religion-peace-143200315.html

After reports suggested that all terrorists involved in the recent attack at Dhaka restaurant, in which 20 people were killed, were highly educated and belonged to rich families, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen rubbished the arguments that poverty makes somebody a terrorist.

In a series of tweets, Taslima quoted Saleem Samad that Bangladesh has been a major contributor to global terror and said it's time people should stop saying Islam is a religion of peace.

'Bangladesh has been a major contributor to global terror. Bangladeshi men have joined terror outfits in 36 countries.' -- Saleem Samad

All Dhaka terrorists were from rich families, studied in elite schools. Pl do not say poverty & illiteracy make people Islamic terrorists

You don't need poverty, illiteracy, frustration,America's foreign policy,Israel's conspiracy to become an Islamic terrorist. You need Islam.

— taslima nasreen (@taslimanasreen) July 3, 2016

Taslima holds strong feminist and human rights views and has not been able to return to Bangladesh, her native country that she left in 1994. The author has received death threats from extremist groups linked to al-Qaeda.

Please explain the 1960's to 70's bombings carried out by rich, college students in protest of the draft and the Nam war? Was no Islam back then.

You forgot about the killing of the Israeli athletes at the 72 Olympics. Once could certainly argue that that was political vs religious. Same for the hijacking of the Air France airliner in 76 that ended in the raid at Entebbe. Some of those involved were Muslims. Definitely not like what ISIS is doing.

Terrorism is done by people who are sure what they believe is true and important. It is a reaction caused by a need to feel significant that arises out of having been made to feel one isn't. We know nothing and are without ego significance and would have no problem realizing or accepting that had we not as children been put down and made to feel worthless for that fact.

Terrorism is just how people without comparable armies fight. Of course it's in the interest of people with large murderous armies to vilify how the other guys do it.

If you do not think Islam existed prior to 1960, you should maybe educate yourself a lot prior to posting in P&N again on that subject to be honest about it.

That is just in the completely clueless category.

He meant that he wasn't doing those bombings because of Islam, I think.

So you support ISIS.

I "support isis" in the same way that pointing out homophobic bigotry "supports aids". Or pointing out the retail employee you're unjustifiably angry at is just doing his job implies supporting corporate america.

These are wholly irrational conclusions formed in the heads of dummies because they can't come with a coherent argument but want to mouth off nonetheless, and since I evidently don't control what dummies believe I don't sweat over it.

Your posting history says otherwise. All you have done is defend ISIS and bashed America.

Even in this post you cannot bring yourself to say anything against your beloved ISIS.

Responsible and virtuous people look for things to improve within themselves, in contrast to dummies always blaming all problems on everyone else.

I recall Jesus also said something to that extent--smart guy if true.

again with this derp™ derp™ derp™

The best thing about running circles around an imbecile like you, is that while you have to misquote me to attempt to make me look like an idiot, I just have to hit quote and type whatever I want outside of the quote tags.

Keep on keepin' on, champ.

The only people I ever hear say that anymore are those using it satirically. I think at this point that phrase continues because it is said so much by those mocking it, more than anyone honestly championing it.

Just like to point out only morons and useful idiots ever believed this. (And there are plenty of those types.) But it's so obviously disproven, it's laughable.

I'm guessing she's referring to these type of pandering statements made by politicians, right after another bunch of Islamic nutjobs blows more people into tiny pieces. Just from the latest news:

http://www.dawn.com/news/1268796/bloodbath-in-dhaka

“Islam is a religion of peace. Stop killing in the name of the religion,” Hasina said in an impassioned televised address to the nation in which she declared two days of mourning.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/baghdad-bombings-1.3662643

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Stéphane Dion issued a statement condemning what he called "savage attacks" on innocent Iraqis.

"Once again, the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant [ISIL] demonstrates its complete disregard for human life and for Islam, a religion of peace that fosters the respect and promotion of human life," Dion says in the statement.

No, imbecile. He made the point that the US and the rest of the world has been screwing around in the middle east for the past few hundred years, and that the blame can be spread around accordingly.

Not that you'd understand reasoning that can't fit on a bumper sticker, imbecile.
