Stopping a new Win7 install from installing drivers

I'm about to install an SSD in my computer and am going to do a fresh install of Win7 64-bit. I would like for Windows to install some of the basic drivers such as chipset, onboard ethernet but not for things such as my video card and sound card. I am thinking of installing the sound card after the Win7 install and turning onboard off in BIOS during the install so it doesn't install any sound drivers. However, in order to install Win7 I will need my video card (GTX 260 192) to be installed in order to see anything, and to boot, of course. Is there a way to do this or should I just let Windows do its thing and update the video driver later?

I'd let Windows do it's thing, and update after it's finished.

It won't normally update your drivers automatically. If it has drivers for your device built-in, it will use them. It is safe to update them manually in this case.
