Depends on what % of alcohol you get. You can get like 90% at the drug store.
Pick up some Everclear at the liquor store. That stuff is 95% alcohol.

No, it's 95 proof... which is 47.5 % alcohol.

No, it's 190 proof which is 95% alcohol

pwned. You can't buy it at the liquor store in the US either.

Um, in Wisconsin and Minnesota you can, and those are the only two states I've tried.

here is the link that explains how razor guard works

i've tried it before... it worked ok, but it got really dirty easily (something about not washing the razor, i think, it was a while ago), so i went back to exposing it to the elements but trying to at least dry it off after i used it.

I think you are right about them not being made of titanium.

I think the razor guard site has no credibility.
Look:
RazorGuard must be used with our exclusive "Hydrovoir" holder to keep your razor free from the elements that prematurely dull your blade.
I hate it when marketing departments make up words instead of expalining the engineering. It makes me think there is no engineering or science behind their claims.

There's no way the blades are made from titanium. Too expensive and harder to work than steel. Also, edge-holding isn't as good.

Not pure titanium, no. If anything, they're coated with something involving it to protect them.

No no, you got it all wrong. To make the razor blade last longer you need to "temper" the steel. Just pop those razor blades on a cookie sheet and stick them in the over at 500 degrees for 45 minutes. That'll keep 'em nice and sharp.

After consulting the bottle of Everclear that is in my room, I can definitely state that it is 95% alcohol. Even without the bottle, having done shots of it before, I can tell you its WAY over 95 proof

Right.
That is why I can walk into the liquor store and pick up a fifth or a handle of it.

In Russia, alcohol is stored in.... actually it's not stored it's consumed. So nevermind.

Is that why they store combs and scissors and stuff at the hairdresser in blue stuff, so they last longer? J/K.

Titanium carbonitride? That's silver-colored, I believe.
