hello,

so i came home for thanksgiving and i brought my 360, controllers, and most importantly - halo 3 haha

i FORGOT my power brick and connector wires...do you guys know of any stores that are open today? id love to hit up walmart, target, or best buy - someplace where I can buy it easily and either return later or exchange for store credit for other shopping i need to get done.

i really want to get it today though and as early as possible - any ideas?

thanks,
lax

You'll find a lot of department stores will be open today until about the 4-6 range.

Not so much with restaurants and non-retail businesses.

Well, I suppose I'm going to piss someone off but oh well.

I guess I've reached an age where my mindset is changing. The idea of purchasing an item, removing it from the packaging, then making full use of it with the express intent of returning it later, somehow just strikes me as being very wrong.

My generation is known as the Baby-Boomers, I'm not certain what the name is for a generation with this kind of mind-set.

Flame away.

QFT> Seems to be pretty common however. Ethics apparently have gone into the crapper with the younger (me--me--me!) generation.

I do, also. The only time I specifically did that was on my honeymoon when I bought a camcorder. I wanted a model OOS and the salesman told me to buy the lower end and return/exchange it after the honeymoon (or a few days later if the camera came in) so I didn't miss anything.

I 100% agree with you ... this is stealing as far as I'm concerned & ultimately results in stores making it harder to return stuff.

Yup. The mindset of "renting" items from stores just makes it harder for people who have legitimate issues... and oftentimes stores will plunk it right back on the shelf and sell it like it never got used.

I brought my 360 home and need an enormous CAT-5e cable to run from the upstairs router to the downstairs XBOX.

D'oh.

yes, the first one, they were sold out and the lady said the two nearest towns were sold out

BUT, we went north, to a larger town and the first place we tried, BOOM! still had 3 papers left, so i grab one and there we go, the wife has the ads from the newspaper like she wanted

mission accomplished!!
