Well, to sum the problem up, I tried formatting the beforehand empty D: partition on my single HDD.
It went fine, the computer worked fine - until I rebooted.
It seemed that the D: partition was needed, as it didn't detect the Windows XP.
The obviously strange thing, was that basically all the data were kept on the C: partition.
Then I tried formatting the C: partition, and reinstall XP, and it worked fine.
BUT, both the C: and D: partition reappeared, and I don't want my HDD to be partitioned!
So my question, is how do I de-partitionate (is that a word?) my HDD? If there is any way, of course.
