OK, I've got a Linksys WRT54GS v.1.1. My laptop is a Thinkpad with a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter. Driver is current, using Windows to manage the connection. NetStubmler says I'm the only network in range on this channel, signal strength is always excellent.
When I try to download a file over 20 megs, the connection will drop before the file completes. This happens with any file, IE or Firefox.
It only happens at home when I'm connected to my router. (At school, it doesn't happen)
It only happens when connected to the router via WiFi (wired works fine)
It happened with both the old and new Linksys firmware.
It pretty much only happens when I'm trying to download a large file (everyone gets an occasional drop, but it happens every time with the file download)
Any ideas? It's really, really annoying.
