Idiot neighbors continue to feed stray cats. Cats continue to breed and you get the picture. Animal control says they don't have the resources to come out and catch them. So I called my redneck police captain recently retired of 30 years father in law. He's going Liam Nelson on these pussy cats. I came home recently and there are 4 of them caught in the trap. I asked My father in law if he was going to take them to animal control, he told me they are going to "run away forever".

I hope we catch most of them. Would be interesting if neighbor found his stray cat in the trap.

Do you live in Florida?

Does your neighbor brag about donating money to animal causes and how many cats he feeds?

Did he previously drive an M3?

What would be wrong with that? Why are people perfectly fine with the painful killing methods provided for rodents, but not a humane bullet for a cat?

People like cute furry affectionate animals because of the feelings evoked in their minds. If you lack these emotions or an understanding of them I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but understanding of human kitten relationships ain't one.

Op said cats, not kittens. I personally wouldn't want to kill strays, but they're a problem and killing them is a lot more efficient than spaying. Kill shelters are a good thing.

So how do you feel about your furry affectionate killing machine murdering bunnies and birds?

Only up to a point. Killing is less efficient because there will always be a bunch of other strays that will move into the same area. Its better to trap and neuter strays who will hold an area from other wandering strays.

But its more important to remove sources of food which the OP might not have any control over, unless its against local regulations.

It sounds disgusting to casually kill cats. There are alternatives. Get them fixed, also.

Live trap, plastic storage container full of water, dunk and repeat. Shovel and garden, don't let them stink.

Sentiments like this are simply not welcome on ATF.

If you're going to kill them at least do it humanly. Bullet to the head is a much less painful way to go than drowning.

Personally I'd just drive them like 30 km out into the bush somewhere. At least they have a chance at a life.

Your idea of efficient does nothing to meet the objective of removing stray cats.

Thats what we did this morning. Took em out the middle of no where and released them.

So if you live near Concord, NC, and start to have a stray issue - my apologies.
