My percent has been going up. I've only lost like 2 of my last 20 fights but it is still a little below 60% I think and only like 1,241 bp or something.

My main problem is execution. Still can't consistently time alot of the combos. I'll practice them and come back later and not be able to do them again. I sat in training mode for 3 hours last night...

Challenge mode normal and hard both have you do that.

not really, i use zangief for the most part, and people don't really know how to play against him
so i'm getting wins i normally wouldnt if i were using ken/ryu/sagat type characters.

hell that was the reason i started using zangief, cuz people weren't using him and i got pretty
good with him lol

Haha, that's what I was thinking. 68% seems godlike to me. I think I've gotten myself to be around 33%, and I play mainly ranked matches. Haven't played in a couple of days, though, I need to get back on the ball.

I'm like blackflag, still waiting on my parts. The thing that sucks is that I ordered on the 19th, and it seemed as if people that ordered on the 16th and 17th were getting their's shipped. But then LL got his huge restock shipment in, so it's basically like getting put way back into the queue again while he goes back to the 13th backorders and starts filling those.

I may just cancel my LL order and get another order from Per. :/

I've been playing mostly offline singleplayer (unlocking things) and have yet to touch online multiplayer. Is there a noticeable difference between ranked and unranked matches (be it the competition, population, etc).

ok so i fixed my joystick and now all is well

it turned out to be the cherry switch on the left direction of my joystick. when i opened it up and looked at the switch as it was pressed down, i noticed that 1/2 the time you had to have it depressed more than normal for it to register.

the funny thing is, this is literally probably like a mm or so difference, and the thing is, i could notice it big time while playing lol.

it's crazy how much timing is critical to tihs game and something such as that can make such a huge difference. im not having any trouble pulling special moves off anymore.

Question, if anybody knows. When it says 'connection to the player was lost' does that mean that player quit? I was the host of that matters. I just wanted to know cuz I was playing a buddy of mine and we kept having 'connection issues' but I think he was just being a bitch and quitting since this happened when I was whooping his ass.

Legitimate connection issues exist, if it was your friend I've give him the benefit of the doubt since player matches don't count for anything. When it comes to online matches though, out of the 20-25 DC's I've had in the 600 matches I've played, not once was I not winning the match when the DC happens so you know where I stand with how DC's go unpunished

If you choose "more skilled" option, you'll more than likely find some pretty good competition in both ranked and unranked mode. From what I gather, I can find ranked matches much easier at any time of the day, but it often takes about a minute or two in between ranked matches before I am in another match.

As for unranked matches. It takes a little harder to find a game, but often when I get into a room, I end up getting in sometimes upto 15 matches with that same person.

last night my friend and i had 2 connection issues.

it happened when we were loading up to fight.

turns out his drive is kind of messed up and he said his drive was kind of grinding and taking longer than normal to load up when the connecton issues happened.

so basically his 360 was taking too long to load up, or possibly sync after loading, and that caused the connection issues.

we were in a party chat at the entire time so our actual connection to eachother never disconnected.

Ah, thanks...I know of akihabarashop, but just assumed that shipment from overseas would take longer than LL. Who knows. ugh.

anyone knows if hori will producing more sticks? whether its just he fighting stick ex 2 or even the ex pro for the 360. I would think they'd want to capitalize on this sudden boom in the market for fighting sticks.

OMG wtf I suck. I just went from 1,200 bp to 500. I couldn't do any moves. Nothing would come out and I was just being scrubby. It took like 2 hours to get it back to 900.

When I was in my losing streak my blood was boiling. I could feel the heat in my face. Sadly the angrier I get the worse I play. Should have stopped but I was being stubborn.

Got my 100 online win though

You can find HRAP EX's on ebay right now for around $150-$200, that's usually how it always goes for Read Arcade Pros. I'd say wait for demand to die down, right after SF4 came out the prices for HRAP3's shot up more than $100, give it some time and it should go back down to the $90-$130 range.

Yup, I'm the same way.

Last friday I went from 1400 down to 600. Now I'm at 1500. Some days its just not there, and other days everything seems to click. I tend to try to "warm up" by playing unranked matches before diving into ranked matches for the night.

I have a feeling I will be extra streaky playing as Akuma.
