Dropping your claw and mask ups your attack by a little for one hit. Though, you lose 20 percent damage when you don't have your claw and take 20 percent more damage without your mask, so it's pretty much a taunt

Dropping vegas mask increases his damage taken by 25% and increases his damage output by 10%

Dropping his claw takes a total of 10 damage off of all his claw attacks.

I managed to power my way into G1 earlier starting at 13k GP last night. I think I'm officially with the GP grind at this point.

the only problem now is that G1 has a lot less opponents lol. i miss G2. i've been playing a lot more player matches now due to this fact.

So I won my round 3 match tonight and have my round 4 match tomorrow evening.

I expected to face Sabin/Arturo tomorrow in the 4th round, but he lost tonight which shocked me. He is like one of the top guys on the East Coast and is in Justin Wong's crew (Empire Arcadia).

So the guy I face tomorrow looks to play a nasty bison (from his replay) and is ranked 47 in championship mode w/31k GP.

Is it pretty common to go to Quick Match on XBL and not be able to connect to about 90% of players? I usually get "Unable to connect" or "lobby is full" and will have to try connecting quite a few times before I get someone to play.

Then, half the time, their internet connection is shit and the game is laggy.

What mode are you playing? Quick match is pretty much garbage across all platforms. I use arcade request and don't have any trouble finding matches.

Don't use quickplay. Use 'custom match' or w/e it's called and search that way. You can filter it so you get only stable connections and that (usually) helps in making sure it won't be a laggy mess when you connect.

Congrats on doing so well. I noticed someone named Sabin in your bracket, if its THE Sabin from SRK, I'm surprised he lost.

yah it is that sabin, no clue how he lost either, he's got an annoyingly good seth.

the guy that beat him forfeited to me so i dunno wtf happened.

i ended in 5th place, and prizes started at 4th so it kind of was a bummer.

let alone the way i lost was even more bummer but i've explained it so much to people already i don't even wanna bother anymore. i just can't take online tourneys serious heh.

That's alright though. Think about all the people that fought before you. They would have loved to be in the place that you ended up in. You did good..and congrats. I hope I never play you...very frustrating playing against people that have the game down.

if you see DevilJin (call him DJ for short) who plays C Viper, tell him purbeast said whats up. he's a local Viper player and he is supposedly one of the best Vipers on the east coast.
