In the PS3 version, can I reassign buttons? I want to make the L2 button the Y button. Reason is, I'm building a fight stick and I just damaged the Y button solder point.
How about the PC version?

THANK YOU OMG YES!!!!
Full story:
I had my 360 wireless PCB all wired up only to break a diode that
was necessary for D-right and Y button. So I went to use a PC gamepad PCB instead
(which worked on PS3) , wired it all up, only to find the Y button didn't work.
I guess I'll just L2 as my Y button on the PS3, and LB and LT as my D-right and Y on the 360.

oh you can't make dpad directions be buttons though, only the face buttons and triggers and bumpers.
dpad is stuck to directions only

Just got my TE stick and I have to say I'm disappointed. Most of the reviews rated this one a top notch joystick and rate it above the X-arcade.
I prefer the X-Arcade one by far.
It is pretty but the X-Arcade stick feels much better in my hands. Particularly the joystick. Did US SF4 Arcade machines have the clicky joystick? I am just wondering because it doesn't have a heavy feel to it like the X-Arcade.
I wish the X-arcade one wasn't so ugly.

there is no US SF4 arcade machine, there are only japanese ones, and they use the sanwa parts.
the x-arcade uses happ parts, which all american cabs use, which is probably the reason you are used to it.
i've grown used to sanwa now and prefer it, but this joystick i built back in april or so is the first time i ever used it. it took me a while to get used to it, and i actually put more springs into the joystick to make it stiffer, and now i like it a lot more tan i used to. i think i'd stick w/sanwa now over happ for joystick.
buttons are night and day, sanwa buttons are WAY better than happ buttons, but they do take getting used to as well since they are so damn sensitive.
in the end, it is all just personal preference. all the people on SRK love sanwa solely because tey are on the japanese players nuts.
EDIT:
and all the US cabs use the 8 way happ that actually does click loud, just in arcades, since they are so loud, you dont really hear it. the happ buttons also click a lot too. it is the microswitches on them.
since your x arcade doesn't click on the joystick, it probably uses the perfect 360 happ stick.

I like the Sanwa buttons and think I'd actually prefer them but I find the Joystick to be awful for me since I find it too small and light.
Maybe I'll go custom one of these days.
any of you guys still playing this regularly?
now that uncharted 2, ratchet and clank, and i'm pretty bored of mw2, i have picked it up again and am kind of hooked once again.
yea i completely stopped playing on PC and strictly on 360 now. my new monitor I have my 360/ps3 hooked up to is lagless and i tried going back to my pc monitor a month or so ago and wow, it is like night and day to me heh. i feel like i have to be a psychic to play on anything else.
and then i tried on my DLP the other day when I had my 360 hooked up to that to watch a movei ... wow, i cant believe i used to think playing on the DLP for so many years was "normal". it is so noticeable how much it lags now.
