yeah sagat was good for zoning, doesn't mean there are different kinds. it's okay for sagat to fire tiger shots but not fang to spew poison?

the point of the game is to win. if he beats you, he outplayed you no matter how he did it and no matter what your excuse is.

it's only boring to you because you lose.

I will admit you are right, a loss is a loss. At the same time though I do call it cheap lol. I like to mix it up a bit more with combos than to stand back and spam hadoken or whatever. To me it does seem like a boring way to play the game. I do know what he is trying to get at, but there should be ways around it for good players.

See that is the thing when I play with sagat and I zone I don't spam tigers shots the whole match. Its certain intervals during the round, a lot different from sitting in the corner spamming and not moving.

On your last point we play this game differently when I'm in SF4U with a lobby with my regular boys I'm playing to have fun I'm not trying to squeeze outs wins as cheaply as possible. If everyone in the lobby is doing that its get boring real quick. I enjoy the game win or lose but I also like to enjoy the fights. It what keeps me playing the game for years, it was never about just wins!

In SF4U I have guys on my list that are around 4k pp and those guys are destroyers so I've lost plenty but even those fights can be enjoyable and not boring.

so basically you want your opponents to play the way you deem is okay to play the game, and if they don't, they are "spammers" and "boring" to fight. that is the definition of a scrub.

i do get what you are saying, because there are certain matchups that are hard for me as well, and i'm full of excuses as to why i lose them, but i also realize i had to find a way to get around that and beat them. like fuerte in sf4. i can't stand that guy and he's full of gimmicks, but i have to try and deal with it.

i guarantee if you beat those 4kpp guys on your list in any way shape or form, after they destroyed you 20x in a row, that you would enjoy it and it would be "fun" to you. even if it meant "spamming fireballs from the corner" all match. if you got the W you would enjoy it.

when i do find a boring match, it's not because someone is "spamming" moves. it's because they don't know what they are doing. in the case you are talking about if they jump back and keep shooting fireballs at me, i'll just go in on them and completely destroy them. they usually are the kind of people who as soon as they wakeup, dash back. in SF5 it's so easy to completely destroy these people because there are no invincible backdashes. and after i realize that these people suck, i will just leave the lobby after the first match and find someone who's better.

they can play however they like if that's spamming or turtling in the corner its a free country but I don't usually stick around for matches like that because they bore me, as i said for me its not always about winning.

no I wouldn't have you been paying attention to what I've been saying trying to squeeze out a cheap win again someone that is better than you isn't victory I want I would rather lose all 20 times and learn something.

There is always someone better but I'm not a tournament player or making money I play the game because I enjoy it.

I just think our views are different in this game I don't care about winning and losing if I'm not enjoying the game. That is the whole point is it not to have fun.

Ok, this may have already been covered, but does the PS3 Madcatz TE stick work with the PS4 version of SFV? I authenticate legacy controllers and my buttons work, but my actual joystick is dead. Am I doing something wrong? It works flawlessly with Ultra SFIV.

lmao nice.

The person you were fighting didn't care to block at all.

Don't even care for arcade mode I play street fighter for Multiplayer and they finally added 8 player lobbies so this update was huge for me.

i suck and also live in hawaii so latency is always an issue for multiplayer games. fighting games it would be an eternal handicap.

so... is arcade mode coming yet?

Doubtful. I've shelved this game until Capcom decides to fix the fucking online in this game. Which means it may be shelved for good since they are incompetent as can be.

It was somewhat working in beta though. What happened?
Netcode is good - when you're not on the bad side of the one-sided-rollback that happens frequently.

It's every other fucking thing about online that is complete ass. Like matchmaking, filtering, selecting a 5-bar only search and being paired with someone 4000 miles away, the "best of three" hack solution they implemented, the rage quitting, plus much more. And then we have the manufactured 10+ seconds of load time that Capcom put in intentionally.

Once you get into a match that has a good connection it's typically good. It's just getting to that point that is the problem and takes forever. I will play the game for like 30 minutes and play 3 or 4 matches. It's just not worth it.

Oh yeah and then you have the 8+ hour server maintenance downtime they have that seem to do nothing since they happen every few weeks and whenever the servers come back they are in worse shape than when they went down.
