Plugged in my KI TE2 to my PC and found out that my Rt and LT buttons don't work. Swapped a wire from another button and verified the buttons themselves work. Had to order a wiring harness from the madcatz store. Wonder how two wires could go bad like that when it had just been sitting idle, not in use. Couldn't use it to play SF4 with a friend. I have two sticks(one is a PS3 edition SFxT stick) but one with broke buttons lol.
Driver issue with the TE2, they don't have trigger support on PC at all. Might as well cancel that order for a new harness if you still can. MadCatz doesn't write/provide drivers for their sticks, so it's up to Microsoft to fix (probably won't ever happen). Just rewire to RB/LB.
bunch of new info came out yesterday.
- vtrigger confirmed to be the new ultra.
- "critical arts" are the new supers.
- march 2016 confirmed.
here's screen shots from the new stage in London as well.

game is looking good. can't wait to see some footage from e3. i just hope they sped it up a bit.
Capcom also spoke a bit about the online play. The team has developed their own proprietary netcode, called “Kagemusha,” based on GGPO-style rollbacks. The studio is promising a smooth, lag-free online experience. Perhaps even more excitingly, this will–in a series first–allow cross-platform play between PlayStation 4 and PC. Can’t convince your PC-owning buddies to spring for a console to play with you? No problem, you’ll still be able to battle them online!
some actual gameplay here:

can't wait to watch all this at home when i have sound and time to look at it closer. DEFINITELY is noticeably faster in that video. definitely a good thing.
wow just watched some of that last video i showed, the fight of chun vs ryu. the speed increase is SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO much better. the game looks very fast paced, i like that. and the animations/graphics kind of remind of of 3rd strike but with 3d models.
this is a huge step up in my excitement from what i had seen prior, i'm definitely getting this game now. i just preordered it on amazon, hope they talk about the beta at e3 and when it will be available. from the listing on amazon it says we should hear more shortly.
Also they have a rundown of the vtrigger system on the shoryuken link you posted and for Ryu pressing mp+mk will give you the ability to parry just like 3rd strike for a time. You can recreate the famous EVO full parry of Chun-Li's kicks. That will add some incredible strategy since each character gets different abilities and move properties. I also like that each character only has one critical art but you can modify it if you use your vtrigger and then perform your critical art for extra damage and a different animation. Also interesting that each Critical Art burns your full meter so that you have to save your EX moves (or burn meter using them and not get access to critical art). That would add even more strategy for matches.
My problem now is I dunno if I want it on PC or PS4. Cross platform play means it shouldn't matter what edition I get, but I'm wondering if maybe the PS4 version will get anything special(or first) in the future being the tournament standard edition of the game.
if you want the beta, gotta preorder for the ps4. but you can easily preorder on amazon then cancel it too.
