Yep, with the original Street Fighter II arcade machine with the glitch, Guile pretty much owns all.
No sh!t. I had ALL Mortal Kombat 1,2 & 3 moves, fatalities, babalities and freindships memorized, and could pull any of them off at will. Then you had the basic Street Fighter moves and Killer Instinct 1 & 2 moves, combos, combo breakers, and the different types of finishing moves. Talk about ALOT of brain space being used!Originally posted by: bigalt
man i wish i had the ability to memorize work-related stuff, but my head is still full from video game moves and combos from 10+ years ago

The glitch in where I can freeze the other character for as long as I want and then unfreeze him at will (Usually I unfreeze him right before time runs out so I'll be declared the winner ). You can also freeze the game at the bonus stage when playing by yourself. After you freeze the game, you walk away and watch other people put quarters in. They figure the game is broke and they walk away. After awhile you then go back to the machine, unfreeze it and enjoy all the extra credits people have donated for your gaming pleasure. Another glitch is where I can throw your character from any move you try and do and from a long ways away. And even another glitch is where I can shut down the machine with buttons combos.

You slide under the sonic boom. If he jumps, medium kick.Originally posted by: MAME
Guile is pretty much abusive. His sonic boom has no recovery time and his flash kick has ultimate priority and even when blocked, it recovers before they can attack.
How does Dhaslim touch that?

Seriously guys, if you want some bad ass old school 2D fighting, get an XBox, XBox Live! and Capcom vs SNK 2:EO. You can play online with the world (however I'd limit it to your coutry due to the lag issues going cross continent) with your favorite old school characters. ALL the Street Fighter II characters PLUS the SNK characters. I usually end up playing for 2-4hours EASY. Not to mention you can listen to the other guy getting pissed off when you are slapping him around.
The glitches are in the original version of Street Fighter II. No activation needed, they were bugs built in. The glitches were fixed on the next version of Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II Champion Edition.Originally posted by: tigerbait
Do you think the glitch would work on a MAME rom of the original SFII arcade? I guess it all depends on whether they dumped the rom from an old machine or a fixed one.
How do you activate those glitches? I had never heard of them before, and I used to play SFII religiously.
Dude, it is SFII x 100.Originally posted by: kami333
