I always disliked Street Fighter, I have no clue why people like it.

What's to dislike? It was a level playing ground with colorful characters for testing your reflexes and wits against other players.

How does it test your reflexes? It's slow as ******. No sir, Soul Calibur is da bomb, Tekken comes a close 2nd. Yoshi da bomb in both.

If you are giong to compare Soul Calibur (more modern) to a game in the 80's and 90's then of course it's going to be slower (still need reflexes). Try comparing it to the Marvel Vs. Capcom series.....can you say you don't need relfexes for that? Strategy even comes to play..
All the current major fighting games require quick reflexes.

Wrong. Most modern games have secret combo move specials and complicated chain attacks you need to read about form someone who already knows them. Come on...Killer Instinct? Who figured out a 16 move combo by themself? Soul Caliber may run at higher frames and resolution, but the timing is much slower than SF because the animations all take so long.
Secret combo move specials. Right. OK.

Carry on.

Street Fighter II, MK, and NeoGeo's fighter!

All my favorites back when 7-11's had video games in them.

Its not a game but a program called MUGEN where you can create your own fighter. Sort of..its like a fighting game engine but you supply the fighters, music, backgrounds that are either hacked from games or made up by gamers. You have to fool around with config files alot and hopefully every works nicely after adding everything. I remember using that many years ago and its funny stuff sometimes.

Have you ever played SC? The speed is based on your character, some are slow and some are fast. I play Yoshi and he is extremely fast, faster than any other fighter I've ever seen in a game. The only thing that makes dodging attacks hard in SF is that dodging is slow. It's a whole lot different when you play on a 3D playing field like in SC, where you don't just go back and forth, but also all around. I can spin up when someone lunges at me, then whack their head off. You can't do that in SF, never could and never will. Even years after SF2 they were still using the exact same gameplay and graphics while all the other fighting games were moving on to better things. SF is a failure.
