The benchmark was a great idea. I think I may pick this one out when it is done.

Since it is on PC I imagine there will be sound mods to change the music for some classic music too!

E5200 @ 2.625ghz = 59.5fps
E5200 @ 2.812ghz = 55.54fps
E5200 @ 3ghz = 52.08fps

Then I actually underclocked to see what would happen.

E5200 @ 2.375ghz = 65.71fps

Wtf?

Update: Took the CPU down to 2.087ghz and got 74.73fps. Something is very fucking wrong with this game.

WTF??

EDIT: Took my X2 down to 1.8 Ghz. Went from 69 FPS to 65 FPS average.
My results weren't as encouraging as yours but still kinda odd, that's a tiny drop considering that I took 25% of horsepower off!

I wonder why it shows 2036 MB instead of 2048 MB

This game is a piece of cake to run! I maxed out everything (AA/AF too) and still got 77 FPS average. It never went below 66 FPS.

It definitely looks better on PC as it should but you can tell that they skimped on the backgrounds. I wish they looked better.

Not bad for a card a bit dated

I am getting a HD4890 this week curious how much of a difference I'll see with a 3-gen jump like this lol.

I went from a Geforce 7900 GT to my 4870 and the difference was huge. You'll love your 4890

I never let it get a score...how long does it have to run for that?

At 1600x1200, 16x AF, and max settings, the benchmark averages about 100fps. With 4xAA and V-Sync Enabled it averages maybe 30 some fps. With just 4xAA, it averages 48fps. With just V-Sync, it averages 60 fps.

With that kind of performance, I can't NOT buy it...I love Street Fighter and it LOOKS AMAZING!

And the PC version comes with a fightpad for the price of the console version...

You're going to play it with a PAD? UGH! SF + PAD = FAIL. I wish there was a deluxe version with that uber arcade stick. Apparently they're all sold out because not a lot were made I'll still own fools with my keyboard.

Not everyone wants to buy an expensive stick.

I cannot wait for this game to come out, I'm usually broke but thankfully I came in to a bit of money. Enough to get a new video card + game + arcade stick. Maybe even a 24" LCD. It's kind of a damn shame I'm willing to upgrade the majority of my PC just to play Street Fighter better lol.
