most of that is just opinion of course but the last statement is just wrong. do you have any idea how many couples go to a strip club and when they get home have incredible sex due to the club.

YUP! although every friend I've had who got a VIP dance always gets to feel up the girl, I'd still rather be doing than looking. I NEVER understood the enfatuation some peopel have with strip clubs Maybe they just have no game and never get to see hot girls naked?

Why is it always assumed that a person must be a loser to go to a strip club? I go to a certain club once a year with a group of friends and we have the best times ever. We're all professional people with active social lives and married or with a girlfriend. We all get drunk and have a great time dancing with the girls - they're fun people.

Yah...not exactly sure how it's degrading. Using that person's logic, you could say going to work and answering to your boss is humiliating and degrading to one's self......

There is a club here that if you pay extra you can touch them except where a bikini bottom would be.

My friends and I used to go out drinking and then spend like an hour in a strip club once in a while. I always would do the Silent Bob thing from Dogma, where he is pulling out the ones. We would always crack seeing all the guys in there stone faced mesmerized by naked women, nothing wrong with that of course but it was amazing how the girls would gravitate to us a bit more because we were having a good time rather then just shoving dollar bills at them(we did that too of course). Not to mention knowing one of the strippers from a previous job makes the night much more fun!

I've done that myself with both my ex and my current GF. Still, it's just porn... very expensive porn. Why pay so much to watch something that you cannot have?

And, in the end, there are far more creative ways to get fired up with your partner than watching money vacuums you cannot fsck dance around you.

Sorry, but that's a pretty dumb analogy for about a billion reasons. One, stripp clubs are often seen as harsh negative influences in the communities in which they operate. You may not agree, but there are many who do. That's just reality.

Two, ripping ones clothes off for cash is seen as a pretty profound drain on one's dignity. Talk to a stripper after they leave the business and listen to what they have to say. Many will tell you that they felt like sh*t and had little respect for themselves. So if you can't respect yourself, how the hell can you expect others to? That's just basic human nature.

I could go on, but why...

The fact of the matter is that "stripping" is not a generally respectable profession. That's just the way it is. If you choose to do something that's not regarded in a very respectful manner, you can't expect to be treated with a ton of respect. Many people look at ripping your clothes off for money as degrading. I happen to think that, myself. Pardon me if I don't look at strippers and doctors in the same light.

Jeez all you people think there is some greater meaning to going to a strip club. It's called having fun. You go with a group of friends, get drunk, make fun of the ugly girls and the loser guys that are there by themselves and just have fun.
I love going to strip clubs. I don't go a lot but when I do go we have fun. And I have yet to have a stripper tell me to stop touching. you can get away with more if you're there with your girlfriend.

one of my wifes friends sews custom costumes for the strippers at a few of the clubs in the Denver/Boulder area. I have gone with her a couple of times as an escort because her husband had to work. wile wifes friend would be in the dressing room doing her costume thing, I would sit way in the back and just watch the guys interact with the strippers. It was pretty entertaining and made a couple of hours pass kinda fast.

The girls aren't always hot. And if they actually turned the lights on in the place and didn't leave it dark all the time, that number would dwindle drastically. If you've went to your first strip club and 80% of the girls were hot, I'd stick with that one, it's a diamond in the rough.

A while back someone posted a link to the Smoking Gun with a strip club bust. All of the "girls" were old and haggard.

Exactly. It's not so much that they might be scams, but that they're not from your bank. You'll take it up the ass in charges, even on the lowest end of the scale.

Strip clubs are a fun night, nothing else. Generally I can go to a strip club with friends, spend 3 to 5 hours there hanging out, talking. Including cover and drinks and a few tips, I can spend about as much as it would cost to go to a Six Flags including parking, and I'll have way more fun at the strip club. Last time I went to a strip club was for a friend's bachelor party. We had fun, I spent alot more than I usually would because I was trying to make it more fun for the bachelor (and the best man's gf wouldn't let him go so I was surrogate best man for the night). I think in the end I spent about $100.

Things I learned that night. Going on a Saturday night to a club where just about every girl is a 9 or 10, they're really not very friendly. They don't need to be to still get your money. The previous few times I'd gone with friends had been on weeknights to lesser clubs and the girls may not all be quite as hot, but they're way nicer and it makes for a better time.

Why spend money if you don't have to? That's why most all strip clubs (atleast around here) charge cover charges. You pay the cover, go in and see naked ladies strip on the stage. If you want a little something extra, THEN you pay extra. Then again, I'm cheap, so there's my logic .

Houstons Strip scene is still booming with clubs full of hot girls...
Treasures, Gold Cup, legends, etc etc..
and yes you can get play from strippers... specially if you got a few bucks to spend.

There are a few clubs that I hear are more like Brothels in Houston. Not to mention the Swingers club on 290. Swingers FTW.
