Strip clubs suck.

i don't have moral issues with strip clubs, but i don't like throwing away good money on some bimbo so she can get a new boob job. that's the other thing i don't like, too many boob jobs (and tattoos). it's cool for a night on the town, but i wouldn't make a habit of it.

Hon', if you carefully read my post, I never talked about the women who engaged in it themselves. I have no problems with a woman who chooses to do the business of stripping. It's a business and that's part of capitalism, so it's all good though I wouldn't personally "drop" to that level. And most importantly, they are not the ones who committed themselves to the persons who attend their shows.

Thus, the subject matter here is the men who do that crap. In at least 99% of the cases, these same men have problems with their wives or gfs doing the same thing or going into that so-called profession. That level of hypocrisy drives me nuts and simply establishes to me that unique perspective and affection he claims to have for his woman is absolute crap. He is simply just as capable of stretching it to some other chick. Besides, usually those men who love to visit those clubs are ugly or ordinary Joe-looking men and also seem not to . . .*ahem*! I don't care for ugly men anyway. I am being candid here, so don't be offended with my candidness. To each his and her standard, right? I just don't want that kind of guy around me, for hypocrisy and disrespect is one of the no-no zero tolerance attributes in my book.

I've been to strip clubs on bachelors parties and such, and I think it's just a cheap thrill. No more, no less, no harm, no foul. Do I think any less of my Fiancee because I've seen some naked woman at a club? Certainly not.

Of course, there is a clear line of demarkation between looking and touching or engaging in other contact. I don't see anything wrong with either a man or woman going to a strip club -- no double standard at all. I think it becomes a problem when it's a habit and becomes a substitute for real intimate contact with a person or a real relationship. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with it, I just choose to spend my money elsewhere.

FFMCobalt: get off your high horse. If you think someone going to a strip club is a bad thing, that's fine, and everyone's allowed their opinion. Thinking you are automatically better than someone else simply because you don't go to a strip club and they do, is simply ignoring all the other traits and behavior of a person. You might be a fine person, or you might be the scum of the earth -- I don't know..... determining whether I'm "better" than someone based on whether they choose to go to a club isn't part of my normal way of thinking.

Sorry, I misunderstood this part of your post to apply to the strippers. I guess you meant it to apply to the SO's of the men who go to strip clubs. If you reread it perhaps you will see why I was confused.

It's my turn to be candid. The level of generalization in this post defies belief. I'm not a fan of strip clubs. I've only been to one once for recreational purposes (a bachelor's party) I have spent a great deal of time in them though, as my brother is a DJ in one. I can assure, at least based on my personal experience, that many of your assumptions are incorrect.

Actually, as long as a man I was with didn't go to them when I was with him, what he has done in his past would not affect me. And if he was the kind of guy that would go to one when I was with him? He wouldn't be with me long anyway.

And as for strip clubs, I have been to one too, but for males. Does this make me a lowlife? And if the male ones are as good as the female ones, I can see why you didn't enjoy it. They were boring, and personally I don't feel the need to go again.

Tell me about it! I hate it when people in this forum promote themselves to "Captain Morality", and try to cram their white bread,Christian,conservative beliefs down other people's throats. I don't to go strip clubs myself, but I also don't feel that I have the right to make judgements about people that do.

 

Djheater, you must have misunderstood the quoted statement. I was most certainly referring to the men's significant others.

Again, I have no probs. with ladies who choose to exploit some sexually deprived men or satisfy some ugly men who have been rejected by women (this is of course my opinion).

To clarify something: I have no problem with a man who's lived his wild life whilst he was single (of course with exception to drugs, impregnating another lady, etc.). What I do have a problem with is once he's with me . . . I will not tolerate it whilst he's with me. If that's what relationships are about, then sorry I can do better and perfectly well living just single with a companion at most.

Also, if he "happened" to "stumble" upon it whilst with me . . . just on one occasion (no, not bachelor's party 'cuz that's no accident), it is possibly forgiveable. But anything past that is an abomination. :disgust:

One thing I find funny is the strippers themselves aren't all that . . . before, yes they were, but now that it's becoming more accepted, some of those strippers have this freakin' ugly body or even face (or sometimes just an okay look). I can certainly do waaaay better, so why he would be going for that is beyond me.

I can't say if a Strip club sucks as I haven't been in one, even though I can now.

I've always said I'd go in to one once I turned 18 with me and my friends as a laugh and as we could.

I turned 18 about 2 months ago.

I don't it makes you any less of a man to go to one. Its just entertainment and the if the people involved are adults they can do what they want if they are not forcing it upon anyone so in this case I think its *alright* for a guy to go to a strip club. I don't think its demeaning to women if they want to do it. They don't have to but they choose to.

If a guy has a SO and goes to a Strip club then I think if his SO doesn't know that is wrong.

I would think nothing of a guy single guy going to a strip club with his friends for a fun night out. I would certainly not think I am better then he is.

As for myself I am seeing this girl and don't think I'll be going to a Strip club as I have respect for her and would not go because of it. As I would feel like I am disrespecting her and if I wanted to go I'd talk to her about it.

But if I wasn't seeing her then.....

I've never been to a strip club. I dont have a moral problem with it, I just never had both: cash that I couldnt do something better with, and the opportunity to go. My only real problem with it is that I am not a fan of the 44EEE silicon bags, which is fairly prevalent (maybe not that specific size, but oversized). A woman with a slim body does not have 44EEE breasts naturally, and IMO, it just looks freakish and is a turnoff.
