Strip joints are just to go and play, have fun. I can count on one hand how many of them I have taken home, ok two hands, but thats not the point. We go there to have fun, relax, and look at fun, firm, women. It is all another entertainment business, thats all. Some are better than others, and some are downright skanky.

Ok I am married and I love my wife and find her very attractive, BUT that isn't the reason I don't enjoy strip clubs.

I look at it like going to a resteruant and having the waiter bring you plate after plate of woderful food only to have them take it away before I can taste it. Also I find that Clothed women can be FAR sexier that Naked ones!:Q

I will not lie a say if an attractive woman is in view I don't look (nor do I feel bad about it either) but I never enjoyed the whole strip club thing. I used to go eat at a club acroos from where I worked for 3 dollars. And I got a lot of food, so it was cheap eats, the naked ladies were an after thought.

I also have gone to HOOTERS with the guys after work, does that make me unfaithful? If I took a waitress home that would but the meer act of going doesn't make me any less of a man thanh you. And considering I had a waiteress TAKE ME HOME (before I was Married) from one off these get togethers before one ould accually say I am MORE OF A MAN!

Nik I generally agree with you, but on this one I would have to say you are DEAD WRONG. Unless you are doing it behind your womans back I really don't see a problem. (I attended One funtion a Strip Club since I was married and I have been to hooters like 5~6 times in my six years of marrage. NOT once did I lie to my wife regarding it. She isn't real big on Hooters due to the fact I was dating the waitress mentioned above when i met her. BUT she also understands at the end of the day I WANT HER and no one else.

I think not, nor does my wife, I have never strayed (even kissed or made other intimate contact) with a woman other than my wife since we got together, thoughts are not actions. My subscription to playboy is also taboo in your book, and while I do read the articles I also look at the pictures (my wife reads the articles too, and claims she doesn't look at the picture but she can spot a fake boob a mile away.)

While eyecandy is Very attractive (I have a thing for redheads, so I married one) I think you really are missing the idea of commitment, My wife fell in love with me Because I am my own person, I go out of my way to make her happy but I am still my own person. If you spend every lasting moment thinking only about oine person after a while that person may seem boring. open your eyes, I am not telling you to start going to strip clubs but I am telling you that chastiing someone for doing something that DOES NO HARM TO anyone else is just plain ignorant on your part, and something I thought you were above.

Strip clubs are just for fun. Sure, SOME of the guys who go there are sleazy and lame, but most of us are just guys who go occasionally just for a good time.

I guess that resolves the issue then. If you know you are too weak minded to control yourself and separate different situations, then yes, not going to a strip club is very much the right decision. If you don't think you could control yourself when drinking alcohol, then indeed not drinking alcohol at all is the best position.

Some (but certainly not all) other folks, on the other hand, do have the ability to control themselves and have no problem keeping things "in check". If I go on a bachelors party to a strip club, my fiancee can damn well rest assured that she has nothing to worry about, because I would never step across that line. If she ever felt like she didn't have that trust or had any reason not to trust, then there is a problem in the relationship that goes far deeper then someone visiting a strip club.
