I broke the handle to my microwave because I'm also a hand grip hulk. So permanent

Scuffing up the surface gives more surface area for the bond and removes any surface contaminants or oxidation.
It's important to get a good bond with most adhesives.

Yeah, if your just looking to slap a microwave handle back together JB Weld would work.

It's a two part epoxy, of course, just for something commercial that works fast and dirty.

Not the thing I'd use a PVC type of solvent on.

"Super Glues" normally aren't going to last long.

That or just replace it, like has been mentioned of course, with the associated disassembly.

Strongest superglue I've come across.

Cyanoacrelates work best on smooth surfaces without a lot of imperfections, imo. I've never had good luck using them to heal rough breaks. They don't have any gap filling ability, and so if two surfaces don't mate evenly you don't get a very good bond.

Edit: should also mention that one of the reasons I like JB Weld's Plasticweld is that it is a low-tack two-part epoxy putty in an extruded stick. You just chop off a small piece, knead the two colors together until you get a uniform gray, and then spread it evenly on one of the parts. It has great gap-filling properties, and can be sanded when cured.

General-purpose epoxy or JB Weld should strongly bond any plastic that isn't HDPE, PP, PTFE, FEP, PFA, etc. Unfortunately, HDPE and PP are extremely common in household and industrial settings.
