That sucks. Where did you buy it?
Did you try banging the side of the set to dislodge the pixel?
By the way, don't actually do this. What you want to do is stick a very sharp needle into the pixel (through the screen cover) and agitate the pixel with it.
You cant notice it even if you are trying if you are sitting on the couch, it just pisses me off knowing that its there.
Tried a few different methods to getting it unstuck... nothing.
Place the tv in a warm place, not too hot, about 95F and let it run for about 30 minutes , and massaging the pixel, it often works. I know a tech that uses a hair dryer, but I don't recommend that because it can deform the screen if not done correctly.
Use a sharpie.
I've got one stuck green pixel on my new 25" monitor. Annoying as hell since it's in the top middle of the screen. I've tried all the different methods to get it unstuck to no avail. Most of the time you barely notice it, but watch a movie or TV show and it looks like someone is standing behind it shining a ffng flashlight through that tiny little hole.
why not exchange it
i thought hot pixels were covered at most places because they are way more annoying than dead pixels
