Sweet! I'm not sure I need it but it would be nice to have access to it for $60. I only paid $20 combined for Office XP and 2003 though, this still feels overpriced considering I hate 2007.

How many copies can we get per email address?
I've love to get 2 since I have 2 computers I'll be migrating for.

I gave it a shot... that's like a 90% discount. I have an alumni email address, so maybe I can slip through the cracks

If this does work then it may actually prompt me to migrate my laptop to Vista - I can grab a copy of Home Premium Upgrade for $70 from the university or use my existing MSDNAA version.
So what's the general consensus on battery life with Vista?

What's the diff b/t Enterprise and Ultimate? Our school has 07 Enterprise for $30. Don't figure there's anything worth an extra $30 for in the Ultimate right?

wow, great deal. Its $680 at bestbuy.com so this is a absolute steal! Another benefit to taking classes at the local seminary

I'm still doing fine with office 97.
Fine?! Microsoft Office is NOT a fine wine, it DOES NOT get better with age!

Agreed...he'd be better off with OpenOffice at this point

office suites comparison - http://office.microsoft.com/en...es/FX101635841033.aspx

I find it ironic how the ultimate version doesn't include ALL the features such as outlook.

edit - I swear I saw it 1 hr, and now it says 3 hrs.

Who needs Outlook 2007 when you have Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager?
Although, what is Communicator?

Damn it, I do not know my school's email password or even my login ID... I wish that they would unify a few of their student account systems. I have two completely different online systems to submit assignments / lookup info in addition to the class schedule / billing system, and finally the email.... 4 logins and 4 passwords to juggle around. More secure, I know, but still a pain when using PCs in the lab.

Looks like a sweet deal indeed. I signed up with my wifes email account (PhD student) as I only have an alumni one. I wonder if it's transferable, my bro-in-law is in need of a copy of office more than we are.

Communicator is just MSN messenger, but linked with your outlook calander and such. We use it in my office and it works pretty well.

Anyone get an email from them yet? I submitted mine earlier, it accepted it, the countdown completed... and nothing.

EDIT** Nevermind, just went to the page again, now it looks like 1am PST the 13th is when it ends... strange.
