Yet cigarette, alcohol and other harder drug consumption is down. Nothing really new here but it's fun to see the "gateway drug" phenomenon, that everyone knows is bogus anyway, being proven wrong. Gotta love this quote:

If the study is based on a questionnaire given out to students, then all it could mean is that 1:15 students wish they could have been smoking pot all everyday. Just like average driver who thinks she is better than average driver.

The punishment for drug use shouldn't be more detrimental to the user than the drug itself was in the first place.

It's not that hard to come up with maybe $60-100 a month... even working for minimum wage.

My life has been so completely ruined by drugs that I've gained a greater level of empathy for other people, become great friends with my ex-wife, and achieved a 4.0 GPA.

Definitely should have stuck with drinking.

This doesn't come as surprise to me. I have never been high before, but a lot of my friends get high about once a week maybe twice. Actually my friend is baking me brownies for my birthday, don't know if i will actually eat them, but we will see.

Unless they're pretty weak I'd recommend smoking (or vaporizing, if the smoke is a health concern) first. Eating potent baked goods can be a pretty strong experience if you've never been there.

It might be a really great experience, too. Depends on the person.

yeah, my brother always throws up with brownies, he gets high a lot though. brownies just don't sit right with him. And yeah they wouldn't be very potent, friend is too poor to afford much weed anyway

Might borrow my bro's vaporizer though if the occasion ever arises (doubtful but meh, we will see)
