well I got laid off from my job so I'm back on the job hunt again...I have no formal work experience with computers but I'm been building and repairing computers for a few years now...unfortunately it's been hard to get the attention of employers so I hope passing the A+ exam will help me out...
I bought and I'm currently reading "the complete guide to a+ certificaiton" by michael graves...it's got good information but maybe too much information...so I'm asking you guys...what parts should I focus on?
upon reading the book I feel I'm bombarded with outdated information...do I really need to know the specifications of pre-at form factors? do I really need to know the dos bootup process? there's a lot of details that I certainly understand...but I'm not sure if I can really remember them...
also does anyone know good links to study guides/practice tests/ or just something that'll help out on the test?
