I cannot see that the piece was that offensive, I'm much more offended by those "male enhancement" ads that bleat non-stop from my TV & email:|

<-----Mumbles about the Cowboys being a POS team.....

Sad we've come to this.

$20 if it was black woman jumping into his arms it would have been fine. Same as if it were a white player.

Or maybe some people were offended when they turned on their TVs expecting to see a football game and were treated to soft porn.
"Soft porn" means sex but no visible penetration....Stop the hyperbole.

You saw a woman's bare back...get over it

i can't believe people are offended by this. they say "oh it was inappropriate for my kids" Have they been paying attention to the BEER commercials that always show during football games? about getting two or three women, the twins? I don't see how theres much difference there.

No kidding. There are plenty of cheerleader cleavage shots and cameltoes throughout the night. I think it's silly people are getting upset by something as trivial as this...

So when is a commercial going over the line? You say that was not too offensive. What if next year they start doing a shot of the guys crotch and they show he is excited by the big bulge. They you will say that was not too bad . . .

The question is why should we allow this kind of activity.

The commercial was pronographic in nature. There are laws about that just enforce them. Just Revoke CBS's license to broadcast for two weeks and see if they change their mind about being pro-active.

Filth is Filth and that is how I call it.

For years we have allowed so much to be shown on TV that we have become jaded and do not have any idea what is and is not allowed to be shown on the air. I say make them pay for their mistake. I also say make the NFL be fined. They have some responsibility in this. Fine the team. I thought the broadcast during the game was the property of the NFL?

I don't think it was that over the top. In fact I think it was far tamer than entire episodes of CSI/Miame,New York etc. Its not the random shot of a females backside that is disturbing on TV its plots that are full of violent material and plots about perverted sex molesters, etc. Nudity is not by its nature "dirty". Sure they were a little over the top, but you're just being a prude about this. The fact is they didn't have any crotch shots and they didn't show anything resembling the actual sex act (which is far more than I can say for most cop and medical dramas on right now.)

Terrell Owens for President!

His has clear, consistent values. You know where he stands on things. He doesn't flip flop. He doesn't use big words and he's not French. He takes bold steps, holds clear cut positions, and he sticks by them. In today's political terms, what's not to like?
Besides the fact that he is an asshole?
Well, at least he's not a Cowboy!

While I personally thought the spot was hilarious, networks have to recognize the audience that their shows target. Kids love sports, and parents love to watch sports with kids.

This is a case where moral relativism definitely applies; was there anything intrinsically wrong with the spot? I don't really think so, but America as a whole isn't comfortable with sexual content in family shows; therefore it was inappropriate.
