Stupid Amazon No Saturday Delivery

I ordered multiple items yesterday afternoon and they were sent via next day, but amazon didn't have the option of Saturday delivery. I thought amazon did Saturday delivery for next day mail? It was shipped this morning via UPS NEXT Day Air WITHOUT Saturday delivery. What is bad is if I selected two day delivery they would have waited until Saturday to ship my package, to ensure I get it on Tuesday.

Occasionally LazerShip, which sucks ass, but thats life.

They select the shipping method, they selected Next Next Day Air without Saturday delivery, they could have selected with Saturday Delivery. My package will sit in my local UPS center all weekend.

Amazon does some Saturday delivery through FedEx but typically only if your prime and order on a Thursday.

They have done that for me, but that is for only items out of one of the west coast warehouses, these were from an east coast one.

I've gotten stuff I ordered on Thursday on Saturday using Prime, came via USPS luckily. Amazon did ETA on Monday though.

I wonder why they would allow for Saturday delivery for some packages and not others. I ordered my package via prime on Thursday, for next day. I would have gladly paid for the option to have Saturday delivery on my package. Now my package sits in a truck a few miles from me all weekend long.

FedEx Home, the most basic Amazon uses, delivers on Saturday. FedEx Home shipping is more or less you will get it when you get it, so long as we don't lose your package, deal with it... Only packages I have ever had lost by FedEx or UPS were delivered by FedEx Home. Filed a claim with the vendor, and ever since the 1st time they lost a package I have been blackballed by FedEx. They require signatures for everything. And they do not knock. Do not leave notices. I just have to go and pick it up at the station. Except for my last package. $1000 package. Even had FedEx notice to the FedEx driver. IN BIG BOLD FONT saying SIGNATURE REQUIRED FROM RECIEVER. NO INDIRECT DELIVERYS. What do they do? They don't knock. They don't leave a notice. They just deliver it to the apartment office where it was unsecured. /end rant.

Over night with Saturday delivery is a whole different beast and it is expensive. A small(think those 8.5"x11" envelopes) can cost up to $40...
