Stupid Amazon Package Delayed By Almost A Week

My package from Amazon with Guarantee shipping to arrive Friday won't come until next Tuesday now. I called and complained and they said at first they said nothing they can do. It was only after I threatened to cancel my Amazon prime did they even offer a $5 credit on $200 item. A 4 day delay is rediculous. Amazon quality is going down the drain.

I just ordered an item from a relatively new seller. I was supposed to get it 7/25, shipped, no tracking... still not here as of yesterday 7/28. I contacted the seller through Amazon email and it came back as the seller having left Amazon. Scam... called Amazon and they refunded right away.

This is like ebay, except they have actual support.

Heh, since they ship the majority of my packages via USPS, I will often get issues where it's effectively "lost in the mail" for a period of time. I had 2 packages the other day, they said they were out for delivery - and they were never delivered. I then re-scheduled online and told them to deliver the next day.... Still nothing came. I put in a complaint with USPS to look into it. A few days later, there was still nothing so I complained on Amazon..... they just sent me the same thing again heh.

A couple days later, the stupid post office that is near me finally called and told me that the reason it wasn't delivered (or rather, their lazy excuse) is apparently 20lbs is just too heavy to deliver. Lazy fucks. Oh it's too heavy? So you just leave it there to sit for eternity because you're too lazy to deliver it? Whatevs.

I ended up getting double my order, so I guess I can't complain.

Their own delivery service is pretty great. They come earlier than USPS. I guess you have to live in a somewhat populated area for it so it's worthwhile for them? Most of our deliveries are by them.

Yes it was a prime item. Not only that the shipping company is Amazon Logistics.

Actually their delivery service is crap here. Amazon Logistics has had my package since Thursday, and they can't explain why they can't deliver it. I suspect they lost it and are looking for it.

Yup, 2 prime small packages in the past 2 weeks for me as well, & I live in a large city.

First package, they e-mailed me saying it'd take longer to deliver, then for some odd reason I was told it's going back to them (WTF), a few days later, sorry it was lost here's a refund. The following day it arrived & I got a refund. I didn't contact them once, all updates were either via e-mail or their website.

Another package I was supposed to get yesterday, was sent an email saying it'd take longer to deliver, will see how it works this time.

I ordered 3 items and I got them all within two days. I'm waiting on a gaming laptop that I should have today. It's marked as "out for delivery." I had a package lost last year. I bought 1 box of Metrx. Amazon replaced it for free. The thing about my address is I share a very similar address with a guy who lives 15 minutes from me. Same address, but different cities. I've even used the last 4 digits after the zip code. Sometimes it works. Other times it doesn't work.

I take the attitude that sh*t happens. Yea, I'm disappointed when they mess up. But it mostly works so I'm still doing business with Amazon.

I ordered a Radio Shack power supply from Amazon with Prime for an LED light project for my garage that didn't show up on time. After waiting a week they told me I could wait or cancel the order so I canceled it. Ended up buying a computer power supply from Microcenter for $15 saving me $30.

I know someone that works in UPS Capital and he was shocked when I told him that my Amazon Prime packages were being delivered by USPS. I asked why and he said because he was under the impression that the two-day free shipping was supposed to be UPS delivered per contract. I said, nope, they have never been delivered by UPS and I ordered 5-6 times in the past month. I wonder if he is thinking about the two-day delivery (non-Prime/non-Free).

Anyways, the last four orders had one not show up, another take three days and the others on time.
