Stupid Autodraft

I had a prior commitment on Sunday so I couldnt take part in our live draft... I was autodrafted a terrible team (sure I've got recognizable names, but not ones that are gonna get me any points with our point system). The only player I have that's any good for our setup is Ahman Green, and I'm going to have to trade him to get some better players in other positions... Yahoo drafted FOUR NA players (out of eight) for my Defensive line. WTF IS THAT YAHOO?!

Anyways, here's my O line:
QBs: Donavan McNabb, Tommy Maddox
WRs: Laveranues Coles, Marty Booker, Keenan McCardell (HOLDOUT FGT), Muhsin Muhammad, Jerry Porter and Brandon Lloyd
RBs: Ahman Green, Marshall Faulk, Eddie George (Injury fgt), Michael Bennett, Jerome Bettis (Backup fgt)
TEs: Todd Heap, Desmond Clark

Donavan Mcnabb- HAHAHAHA Can't hit shiat with a football

Tommy Maddoz=Washed up

Laveranues Coles-Has talent but is not consitent

Marty Booker-His team sux and it effects his performance

Ahman Green-Work horse running back just hope you don't get penalized for fumbles

Marshal Faulk- Flashes of brillance but his team sux now.

Eddie George-injured more then on the field and washed up too.

Michael bennet-could be a dark horse this year

Todd Heap-excellent hands

Desmond Clark- has some talent.

I'm screwed, I'm trading out Ahamn Green and Maddox for Favre and Tony Parrish. Considering 49ers secondary is crappy, Parrish should be getting a lot of tackles and assists for points. I just need to look into getting some better guys on my offense... maybe some rookies that havent been picked up yet? I know Phil Rivers isnt starting yet... Is Sean Taylor worth picking up?

I agree, trading Green for that package is insane. You don't need Farve, so basically its Green for Bishop???? Dont do it!

In our league, Farve is going to be worth about 420 points overall, and Parrish is going to be worth about 140pts... Green is worth about 320pts over the season, and Maddox, well, he's just my backup anyways and worth roughly 200pts. it's not a bad trade... Favre hasnt missed a game well... ever. McNabb isnt all that hot, and I do need a better QB.

I still think it is an insane trade.
You are basically trading away one of the best 3 players for nothing.
What is the estimated point difference between Favre and McNabb? Remember, McNabb now has a WR to throw to. Something he didn't have last year.
What's the point difference between Green and Parrish?
After doing that math, try to tell me it is a good trade.
Based on 6 pts for a TD and 1 point per 10 rushing yards (looking at ESPN's scoring format):
Green is estimated at 318 points.
Favre is estimated as the 10th best QB (McNabb is the 3rd) with 254 (4 pts for a td throw and 1 pt per 25 yds passing). McNabb is at 285.
I bet you can pick up some random strong safety or CB and do better than Parrish.
I really wish I was in your league because you seem to be one easily swindled.
