I always make stupid mistakes. I just bought 2 domains at 1and1 and planned on using them with my telnap account. Now, reading I see I cannot change the dns servers and have to use their hosting services. Now, I have to transfer the new services to godaddy and spend more money, bah!!!!

use their free service (i think they have one) and use subdomains to link to your telnap

Maybe I'm even dumber than I thought. I went into administration and changed my primary nameserver and secondary to Telnap's servers. So, that should do the trick. MAybe, I'm not so dumb

Hmm... when adding a new domain to my host (2 total domains). Shouldn't I be able to access the secondary domain at.... domain.com? I can only access it by going to www.originaldomain.com/newdomain
When I try to connect to my new domain address it just gives a site cannot be found.

It takes several days to switch DNS servers.

Hmm.... If I type in the second domain as the subdomain (domain2.domain1.com) then it will pull up the cgi bin. Wouldn't that mean the dns servers have switched?

A little confusing... here's a better explanation.
I originally had domain1 and it works fine. I bought domain2 mainly for email, but also to do a few different website ideas. I'm using one host, Telnap. I wanted to be able to access domain2 at www.domain2.net, but when I try it it says it could not be found. I added this on my hosting package through cpanel and addon domain.

Now, if I go to www.domain1.com/domain2 I get the page I was hoping to get at www.domain2.net.
Make better sense now?
Also I can do domain2.domain1.com and pull up the page I was hoping to get at www.domain2.net
