Stupid questions demand stupid answers

I went to a drug store today to pick up some cold medication, so I asked the pharmacist for the more powerful stuff you need ID to purchase now (which is ridiculous). She offers me the 4 hour sudafed and the 12 hour.
I ask her "So what's the difference?"
She responds "the amount of time it lasts."
*sigh*
What I really meant was, is it better to take 3 over 12 hrs or 1 over 12 hrs?

And the 12hr one hardly did anything, took another one after about 6 hrs and it's kinda kicking in.

And it is pretty stupid that everything on the shelf is now an inferior product due to the limitations imposed on stuff sold on shelves vs behind the counter. There is now effectively only one choice, at least at this pharmacy.

And it is pretty stupid that everything on the shelf is now an inferior product due to the limitations imposed on stuff sold on shelves vs behind the counter. There is now effectively only one choice, at least at this pharmacy.

Down in Anchorage, some stores have now quit selling certain kinds of mouthwash because homeless people were buying it and drinking it because it was cheaper than booze and had a higher concentration of alcohol. Once again, the few abuse and the majority lose.

i always favored advil cold and sinus. clears me up fast, every time.

seems like i tried some tylenol cold stuff last year that i didnt have to sign for and it worked well enough, but i dont remember which one exactly.

Why would someone be homeless in Alaska? Is it really that tough to make your way down to Arizona or someplace warmer? I never will understand this. I thought people were nuts for being homeless in Washington.

Yeah, it was about 15 degrees when I left this morning, and yesterday got up to about 35 so there was some melting and the roads were more icy this morning. Just lovely.

I heard last week was a cold one though. Glad I missed it.
