Stupid toolbar!

I think this is a really easy question that I hope you guys can answer for me... I'm running windows XP... and on the start bar.. whenever i boot up, the "Language bar" toolbar always shows up. I can't figure out how to disable this.. I can shut if off manually after it starts up.. but thats tedious and I am tired of doin that

I tried lookin at the start->program files->startup folder.. but nothing is in there

Gah I wanna kill this toolbar

Go to Start and select Run. Type in "msconfig" and hit enter. Hit the tab titled Startup. Look to see if the program is listed. If so, then just uncheck the box.

click the thing to get the dropdown menu - i think it looks like a tilde. look in the options, i'm pretty sure there's an option to disable it. I haven't dealt with it in ages though, so i don't remember the exact solution. the msconfig solution isn't the right way.

The settings for the laguage toobar are hidden is the Regional and Laguage control panel. Go to the Laguage tab, and then the details button. Then there is a langauge preference button in that dialog box.

Disabling it in msconfig is a terrible idea if you use different languages for input. Just choose the hide mode in options as described by CTho9305.

If you can't find it, you can also hide the language bar from "control panel/regional and language options/languages/detail/language bar".
