my tumi luggage came with an approved tsa lock that i left hooked on the zipper pull but i never lock my luggage. my last trip i find that my zipper pull and lock was completely cut off and missing, and my toothbrush charger missing from my luggage.

there was no "we inspected your bag" paper either in my suitcase

really pissed off about this still but there's nothing i can do =\

When the TSA opens a bag don't they have to leave a slip that they opened the bag to inspect and who the agent was?

I do understand the lock. It prevents the casual opening of the luggage. I would irritated to find out that I installed a TSA approved lock to only have it cut off.

Apparently the airport conveyer belts randomly rip locks off your baggage as well. Gee, thanks.

Well that does it, count me in on the TSA hating bandwagon ride. Of course, it is still the airlines that have driven me to driving, not TSA.

Also there was no TSA paper, it's about 50/50 when I know they have been in my bag.

I usually just end up zip-tying the zippers shut on my bag. Realistically once it is out of my hands it should be "Secure" until it hits the carousel at my destination.

I think I normally have this happen to me, as I use plastic zip ties. And the couple of times the same zip tie I used is in place, but the TSA tag is still inside.
