Stupidest sports injuries ever?

What do you guys think should be on the list?

A few that come to mind are..

-Bill Gramatica tearing his ACL after a celebration jump
-Milton Bradley tearing his ACL after arguing with an ump
-Gus Frerotte celebrating a TD and injuring himself after ramming his head into padded cement

You've got the top 3 already. There are a lot of silly injuries, but none measure up to guys who injure themselves either celebrating or arguing.

the milton bradley one though? i mean, yeah it was terrible timing but he was already fragile as he just came back from a disabled list stint and having an umpire call you a "fucking piece of shit" probably didnt sit too well with a guy who is notorious for being a hothead. it was baiting plain and simple, and for someone with a job such as umpire he should remain a little bit more professional regardless of his personal feelings towards a certain player.

edit: but the bradley injury did open the door up for scott hairston and now it appears he strengthened his bid for starting left fielder next year because of the hitting clinic he's done for san diego in the past month.

Chris Bootcheck, a pitcher for I believe the Angels last year or the year before pulled a hamstring while running out of the bullpen to take part in a bench-clearing brawl. that is the #1 for me.

Jaguar's punter Chris Hansen missed an extended period of time after injuring himself in the locker room.during a motivational thing where all the players where supposed to chop a peice of wood with an axe. Chris Hansen instead put a large gash in his right leg with the axe and missed 4-6 weeks.
