my eyes can't stand the new and improved look of this forum. It has completely turned me off from ever wanting to come back to this forum ever again.
The least they could do is sticky the topics about getting the forum to look like the old version.

I the forum styles button below, chose VB style.
yep, found it after I made that comment. It is an improvement, but not quite the same as the old forum. Compared to the old forum, there is so much wasted space in the new forum ui...

Yeah, I don't care for Xenforo at all. It's also used at another forum I'm a member of. I use phpBB at my own forum. It has that VB like style.

Guys, sorry for the delay on this, but we've finally integrated Ken's VB fixes from last month into the official theme. So the site will look correct once again.

The production team is asking we do some proper QA on these themes now in order to avoid breaking anything, so updates are taking a bit longer to roll out.

Do you think anything could be done with the main forum page to make it look more in line with the rest of the VB theme? I'm unsure if it is a theme thing or just something with the forum itself...

What I mean is if you go here http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid= it looks a lot 'less' VB-ish compared to all the other sub forums.

Here is a picture comparing the two https://i.imgur.com/oOTF3tD.jpg (on the left, is when you go to the link above. On the right, basically any other sub forums).

Is there any way to get http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid= to look more like the rest of the vb theme?

what about using already approved themes from Xenforo's website? I realize some need to be bought but wouldn't that prevent compatibility issues?

Just a thought.

You'd need to talk to Ken_G6 about that. VB Style is his theme, and between him and I, he's the one with all the mad CSS skills.

Bumped for a new issue directly related to Stylish. Or at least my use of it.

So let's say I've been happily using the Tan theme all this time. Great!

Now there was a Firefox update (for me) today, and my Stylish theme suddenly quit working. I had to edit and remove a tag that described the URL where the theme would apply. Apparently that's built into the UI when you make your theme, and no longer part of the code.

Okay, great. I fixed it. Oh, not so fast. Now there is a bug. Unintended consequences. The "Post Reply" box (where you type inside the Iframe) is picking up the background color of page. This is bad! How do I stop that CSS behavior?

I never learned how to target and/or edit that Iframe or its contents so I left them alone, and I was happy with them being left alone. Now I need to save it from this update, and I'm not sure I can do that unless I learn how to target it to apply fixes. OR to restrict the other CSS code to not apply to it.

Open to suggestions, thanks.

...
Update, the code to change the background color can cause the issue all by itself.

Code:
body {
    background-color: rgb(38, 38, 38);
}

This now alters the typing area for posting quick Replies.
Now to get it to STOP doing that.....

...
Update 2, Huh, the Parent html element (of this entire webpage) has an ID to it. Guess that'll do for a quick fix.
I'd still like to know if there are better solutions.

Code:
#XenForo body {
    background-color: rgb(38, 38, 38);
}
