And FWIW, none of the Subways around here are owned or operated by Indians.

Subway may not be the be-all to end all for fast food, but it sure beats McFatty or the like.

My experiences are the same at my subway too. it's the same at blimpie as well.

I usually just hit up a mom and pop italian restaurant and pick up sammiches there.

For like $7.50 I get sliced meats and inch thick.

This is not a hot deal. Before they had the sub of the day for 1.99. They end that and have 2.29 six inch subs for a month or two. Then they get rid of that and give you a foot long for 5? I guess what they say about bigger portions is true

Probably a way for them to gauge what subs are selling better than others when price factors are taken out of the picture. Expect your favorite subs to go up by 50 cents

I used to work at a subway before college, and haven't been able to eat there since. Mostly because when I made sandwiches I'd layer on the bacon and turkey, totally ignoring the "2 slices per 6 inches" rule they have. The sandwiches made by the rules just don't taste the same.

I am of the opinion that Indians are among the most beautiful people on the planet. I can think of no other culture that can compete, that's my experience. I'm sure it's their personalities. They tend to live in the present, is my sense of it. Beautiful people!

I hit my local Subway twice the last couple of weeks for a footlong for $5. Guess this will end Sunday, 4/20, if the poster is right. And thanks, OP. I saw the deal while watching the NCAA tournament on TV, but probably wouldn't have hit it if I hadn't seen this thread (which I read before skating in there).

I will have another Subway sandwich Thursday evening, because the user group I attend once a month provides free Subway sandwiches (not footlongs, though).

And also, no one here is making any racist comments, calm down tree huggers. There are different types of indians, the beautiful ones and the stingy, smelly ones that reek of curry. I can see if he was exagerating or making it up, then it'd be racist, but he was pretty accurate. I've seen fracking gorgeous Indian females here in Phily, but I also see my fair share of trolls that resemble Indian women.

And Subyway blows if they really decide to end the deal for their biggest flash market: stoners. That's like Hallmark ending a 2for1 deal on February 13th, December 23rd, etc.

You have to have good relations with the guys. They guys at my place are all Indian, yet I'm on good terms with them. They give me crap loads of condiments, and give me discounts all the time.
