Heard they were pretty good, so I just went over on my lunch break and picked up a foot long.

Pretty damn tasty too, and quite filling. Pork's good, BBQ sauce is kinda sweet. I got it plain on roasted garlic. I usually do Italian herb and cheese, but they were all out

Tasty sandwich though. I'd like to see it as a $5 foot long.

Anybody else tried it yet?

I had one, I thought it was good. You've got to be careful what you mix with it though - lettuce and onion was not as good on pulled pork as I'd imagined it would be.

That's why my maiden voyage was plain.

I actually just went to Subway today specifically to get a pulled pork footlong. But saw it was $8. Italian BMT is only $5 this month, so I went for that cause I guess I'm a cheap ass.

There was a program on TV that did a proper nutritional analysis of Subway subs and found that the sodium levels were much higher than they stated. "Shockingly high" the person stated. Even the so called "healthy" lean selections (turkey, etc) had an enormous amount of sodium in the processed meat they use.

I like pulled pork, and this caught my attention even though I don't like subway. For $8 though I'll pass.

I generally dont eat pork, especially if its been pulled. Unless it has barbeque on it, then Im game. But Im cheap, so Id vote no.

They tout that subway sammiches are healthier because they put millimeters of meat on you sammich. I find their regular cold-cut sandwiches lacking of any real substance. Its literally 5 paper thin slices on a foot-long. Even at $5 bucks its a major rip. And most of the cold-cuts, like ham, are turkey based. Its not even real ham. Ug. no thanks. I dont even want to know what is in their "meatballs".

Why not just go to McDonald's? I still can't understand people going to a healthy sandwich shop and getting the most unhealthy sandwich and then adding bacon, tons of sauce, and extra cheese. Just save yourself the trouble and stop by Burger King. You don't even need to get out of the car there.

used to love subway 5+ years ago. now about every place I go to it's basically eating a loaf of bread with some meat scrapes tossed in it.

Yep.

For my wife she gets everything but olives so her sandwich is hugh. Me I get meat and cheese. My sandwich looks like something they hold a event for to raise money to feed IT.

Try it with onion and pickles, no cheese and extra sauce.

Crappy pulled pork all tastes the same.

Although it is still pretty good...just not as good as real smoked pork.
