My Sonicwall Soho firewall (re-badged as a Webramp 700s) has given me great service on my internet connection for 3 or 4 years. My ISP has increased its d/l speed to 6Mbps, and I don't think the Sonicwall is capable of keeping up (I am only seeing speeds approximately half as fast).
So, I am looking into replacing the Sonicwall with a more modern firewall that will provide the same features and with a speedier processor so that I can take advantage of the higher speeds from my ISP.
Most important features:
- SPI
- handle 12+ simultaneous connections
- configurable access rules
- Stealth mode
- logging/emailing of logs
- remote configuration
- STABLE
- reasonable cost
There might be a few other features, but I think these top the list.
Anybody have any suggestions for a replacement?
TIA
