I'd guess it's probably not as good because you know the outcome rather than it not holding up due to outdated special effects and/or storytelling.

The final 8 episodes of that series are to this day the best consecutive 8 episodes I've seen in my life.

Lost Girl was a lot of fun but this was the last year. It does get a little silly at times but it's worth it for Bo, Kenzi and Tamsin plus all of the many, many cuties they have on the show.

I think the show had a strong lesbian following which is why it lasted so long and watching it, you can see why.

i waited for the series to end before watching it all, marathon style, and thought it was one of the best TV shows ever.

I started in S4 or so but watched the first 3 seasons over the course of 3-4 days. The latter half of S3 and most of S4 was kinda meh, but overall I definitely feel the series is more than worthy of the praise it gets.
