Suggested Q6600 Cooler...

I don't know about quality but my Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme dropped my temps more than 10 degrees over stock. 23C right now (each individual core reads around 36)...so lapping or not it's pretty nice. It looked like it couldn't fit in my p182 but the side closed OK.

laughing my ass off dude! I've got six Tuniqs now and you are not fricken joking, that EXACTLY describes how they look :laugh:

Having said that, they are fairly easy to lap and don't perform too badly even if you don't bother. Yes they are a little rough, but that is what TIM is for. Don't be haten the TIM, gives loves to the TIM.

I am in the market for a Q6600 cooler also, if it's fairly easy to install and cools very well.

What easy to install? You either have the backplate which will stick on forever if you use the tape (Don't, use cardboard) and you have the push-pin system, which snaps motherboards and requires more strength than most nerds can muster.

Slight exaggeration may have been used. What cools well is in this thread.
