Looking to get a new wallet. Nothing too fancy or expensive, it just needs to be made of some leathery material and be thin as fuck. Just the money holder and 2 or 3 card slots should do.

I already have one of those money clip foldless things. What do you guys use?

I need to watch this thread. I'm in need of a new wallet bad. I've finally accepted that I need a new one. My current wallet was given to me when I was twelve, a simple dockers leather wallet. It's lasted the last 17 years but has definitely seen better days.

I've had a basic Natuica leather bi-fold wallet for 15 years or so. Thin, cheap, durable, effective. If you're interested in thinness, I'd avoid tri-folds, as they can bulk up pretty quick (my brother's is like 3 inches thick, but he saves EVERYTHING).

I have a simple nylon bi-fold that is starting to show some wear. 30+ years of use for a $2 surplus store purchase ain't too shabby.

I have used a Magic Wallet-style wallet for many, many years. Plenty thin.

I have had this one for so long, I forgot where I got it, but they have a few of the style on Amazon.

I'm really tempted to buy this billfold wallet from Club Monaco myself. It's incredibly thin.

Doesn't give a depth measurement...

Bought my uncle a wallet from http://www.all-ett.com/ a few years ago. super thin and i'm guessing that since he still uses it daily that it's quite durable as well.

If they're really 1/8" thick empty, then that may cut it. That Dopp Regatta looks nice, but I'd rather have a fold just in case my sloppy ass drops money all over the place.

I've never dropped bills out of it.

bumping this thread because i'm looking for a new wallet.

i want it to be leather, as thin as possible, to be bi-fold, and to only have 1 money pocket instead of a lot that now have 2.

also don't want it to have any "extra" holders in it. i only carry a few credit cards so i'd rather have a slimmer wallet than that stuff.

anyone have that all-ett bifold wallet and can comment on it?

I have a bifold Fossil, with the ID slot on the outside and magnetic money clip on the inside. I fit ~3-4 credit cards, and a decent amount of cash. Fits in my front pocket too!

I have something like this: Columbia Wallet. Got it for Christmas a couple years ago. It's not quite the same as that one, it lacks the clear ID holder, and has 3 card slots on one side and 1 on the other along with the magnetic clip. I like it a lot.

I have the original in leather and it is awesome... Best wallet I've ever had. I carry 4+ credit cards, a couple IDs, some rewards type cards (AAA, Sams, etc) and about 10 business cards. Even w/ all that junk, it stays thin enough not to annoy me when I'm sitting.

im thinking about getting the inside id one from them but just don't know anything about the quality. the original looks a little too large for me. but i want to measure my current wallet when i get home to see what it is now so i can tell what the size is compared to this one.

It is definitely a little taller than I was looking for, but it easily fits in the back pocket of any jeans I've worn. I've actually come to like the taller bit - I know you didn't want two money pockets, but the taller size means there's one full depth pocket that I keep receipts and notes in and another shallow pocket that's the right size for $$$. Again, this little touch helps keep it thin even when I have a bunch of junk in it.

As for quality, I've been happy. a by product of always having my old wallets stuffed full was that they wouldn't last longer than a year or so before the stitching busted and it fell apart. I've had this one for about 8 months and other than some very minor nylon fraying at the top, it's fine.

Whatever you go with, good luck!

yeah the two separate pockets in the inside id one i am not a big fan of either. i may go to kohls this weekend and take a look at what they have in the store and snag one from there if i find one i like.

i don't like keeping anything in my wallet other than money and credit cards/id, and maybe like 2-3 of my own business cards.
