Suggestions for my site

Any comments or constructive criticism appreciated. Please note that I have no design skills and like things simple and to the point. I'm sure the colors can be improved but i dunno which schemes I should use. I mainly set it up to play with PHP/Dreamweaver.

The movie review part was the main PHP portion. A lot of the coding was done from the administrative perspective so yeah nobody gets to see all that effort...

Yeah go Tucson...at least for a while until it gets back up to 110 outside. Yeah my friends actually made the wildcat prior to the wedding...pretty funny stuff. It was SO hot that day.

as a former UI engineer, my recommendation is to make some alterations to the colors you are using... blue / purple text on a black background is hard on the eyes. perhaps lighter shades of blue and purple, or else colors like red, yellow, orange, would work better.

also, from a business standpoint, you might look into using amazon web services for your reviews section. not only can you use their images/info and save yourself the trouble of manually entering that info, but you can also link to the dvds on amazon and get referral fees

I've played with Dreamweaver's php scripting. It can do some quick and dirty stuff, but worthless overall if you know how to do everything yourself.

Cool I'll try orange and see how that looks.

As for the business suggestion I'll look into that also, but personally I think half the fun is searching for a large, good quality pic of the poster then makinf thumbs, but that's just me.
