Suggestions for quieter cooler or mod for Geforce 430

I figure I would get more responses posting this here than in the video card forums...

I recently replaced a hd4350 with a geforce 430 in my HTPC. The 430 works great, but I neglected to realize that the 430 doesn't have a fanless heatsink (I got this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500204)

Though the fan isn't loud, it definitely noticeable since I had my HTPC already setup to be barely audible.

I've looked around but it seems like there are few, if any, third party vga cooling solutions now for the 400 series of cards, and none of them fanless. Does anyone have suggestions for a cooler or some sort of mod that would lower noise, but not affect cooling too much? Is there any tool I can use to adjust fan speeds?

I haven't owned an nvidia card in ages and I haven't looked into vga cooling options in ages as well, so I don't know what's out there. Considering I only spent $20 on the card, I would prefer a solution that doesn't cost me more than the card.

I bought the same card on the recent $20AR deal (excellent little card the the HTPC, BTW). I haven't found the fan to be very loud but mine is built into an entertainment center.

The heatsink is a reasonably large unit and the card seems to run pretty cool, so you should be able to rig a larger and quieter fan to it. Some zip ties and an 80-90mm fan on a manual speed control should work great.

u can replace the heat sink from what it looks like.

there are aftermarkets which can probably do what that sink does on passive.. meaning fanless control.
