Suggestions for watercooling?

Well, I'll be putting together a new rig soon (next couple months) and thought I'd like to have a bit of fun with my new setup. So I'll be modding a case, doing the flashy lighting thing, and I was considering adding a watercooling setup.

So I was wondering what other anandtech members used for their watercooling needs.

I'm planning on getting a AMD 4400 X2 and 7800gt (possibly 7800 gtx) and I'm mostly interested in reliability for the watercooling system (though I'd like it to look nice, or at least be unobstrusive). I don't really intend to do heavy overclocking, I'm just a technophile who messes with computers as a hobby.

Any suggestions?

why not just get a good air cooler that looks GOOD, since you not doing any HEAVY overclocks. I would suggest looking at the Zalman CNPS9500, it has a blue led and it looks GREAT and cools as one of the best air cooler or a crappy basic water cooler.

if you're not planning on doing overclocking then I wouldn't plan on setting up a WC. I got a koolance right now, and it works well. Watercooling kits like koolance generally perform a little bit better then your top of the line air cooling. If you want to get a decent watercooling kit, go for the Swiftech - Apex kit. I think that's what it's called. If i was going to buy a new wc i'd get:

Storm CPU waterblock
DangerDen Maze4 GPU waterblock
Thermochill PA120.2 Rad
Iwaki MD20 Pump

Thanks for all the suggestions!

The koolance stuff looks interesting and relatively easy to setup, and the cases aren't bad.

The swiftech setup looks good too and I think I can hide the radiator.

and yes the zalman looks good too, but to answer your question I just like messing with new tech so I thought I'd try watercooling this time even if I don't need it. Hell, I'd probably try phase change but its a bit more than I want to spend.

I haven't decided how I want my final case to look, but I'm leaning towards the koolance stuff so far.

Thanks for the posts.
