Suggestions on a Monitor

I'm looking to buy a good 19" monitor in the $300-400 price range. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Mitsubishi DP930SB and Sony CPD-G420S. Both are some of the best 19" monitors out there. I favor the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro line myself. But I own some Sonys too and they are quite nice.

I'll second Alptraum's recommendation of the Sony (either the G420S or the G410R)... I'm sitting here looking at two of them.

where do you live, and are you going to be having it shipped to you or are you going to a store to buy it? I would say that the sony g420s is one of the better ones out there, but if you were willing to get a refurbished monitor, you could probably pick up a 21" flat screen for $300 or so.

Take a look at Iiyama. They make great CRTs, and I prefer them to Sony and Dell.

Although you could probably find it for less than $300, the NEC Multisync FE991SB is still a great monitor. I've been using it since September and I love it. I've had no problems whatsoever and the clarity is great.

not sure where you might find a mit to look at but if you have a sony store in your town you might see if they have a display model to look at. i had a LG 915+ flatron and loved it and didnt have the trinitron lines in it.

I have a dell 991 (I think)

It was a HOT deal about 2 years ago with coupons and free shipping and all that.

My monitor is the only thing I do not have a huge desire to upgrade. A coworker got a KDS At BB and he loves it.
