The truth is the President is not really supposed to do much. His powers are supposed to be very limited. Go read the Constitution, it gives the President very limited powers to actually do anything. For the most part he can't even decide on his own staff without Congress' approval. He is mostly an administrator of the programs Congress sets.
The only real power he has is as the head of the military (and even in that role he is supposed to ask Congress for permission to do just about anything) and at that he seems to be doing something the last 4 Presidents failed at.

Overall, I think people have too high expectations on what a President is supposed to do. They are not kings.

The power of the president lies in their ability to talk to people, be it the American people, congress, or foreign governments and Biden has been doing a pretty job. If we get an infrastructure bill passed, that will be a pretty good milestone. I’m also looking at our withdrawal from Afghanistan as well as protesting voting rights and immigration. It’s slow going and he seems to be talking a lot behind closed doors so we’ll have to see what he accomplishes but as effective has pointed out, he’s light years ahead of trump. That’s a low bar for sure but it’s one he’s easily cleared and that alone is worth something.

What I appreciate about Biden is that he has taken responsibility and accountability as President, rather than constantly ranting that everything bad is always someone else's fault, or calling the Americans who didn't vote for him "human scum" or "illegal" or (in supreme irony) "divisive."

That's a refreshing change IMO.

Awwww how cute the willingly propagandized troll is spreading propaganda bullshit. Keep it up son, and the next time your handlers ream your sphincter open in all the ways you love you just might get a reach around!
I provided actual documented events and you provided typical laziness and homophobic insults of the weak sauce variety.

Did you really though? Because it looked like you were talking about the trump admin.

No you didn’t provide any documented events, you do what you always do which project and post from your feels.

We get it though, you are a little snowflake so you have to make up shit in order to feel good about your pathetic life. How many family members and friends have stopped talking to you now?

Fuck off with your bullshit lies. There is no link provided by you in this thread with any sort of documented evidence. Just spreading more lies! And you have the nerve to call me lazy. Fuck you and your bullshit. But hey, that reach around you are trying to earn is gonna feel so good...right?

I enjoy not having to see Twitter for official policy decisions.

Ask a simple question and what do you get. Speaks volumes for the character of this board. One thing that surfaced real quick, if somebody doesn't like your question or comment your a troll. Simply amazing at the lack of quality answers. Hats off to those who answered in good faith. Haven't seen much insofar as stating what he has done for the people or the country.

What are your thoughts on the current administration

I'm going to provide a list and you tell me which ones are false.
  1. Biden hides behind the media, and when he does answer questions, he becomes angry or confused
  2. Tons of nepotism
  3. WH being overrun by lobbyists
  4. a VP that does even less with the couple of assignments given to her
There you are. Please @VW MAN and only @VW MAN dispute any or all of these points with actual facts and not your usual lazy method of insults.

The current issue with the current administration is they don't have the balls to call out the GQP as loud and as often as what it really is - a fucking cult of liars and really shitty people.

To sum it up..... I like the "calm".
Seriously, lets take it one by one....
THE BORDER:
If Trump's border policy were soooo great as republicans and Fox claims, then WHY are we back in the same boat as before???????????
Obviously, the Trump policies DID NOT work or we'd have no boarder issues AT ALL. Yet it continues.

Trump wasn't so great as republicans and Hannity would like to convince people of. Trump failed at the border and thus here we are....AGAIN. And besides, president after president have been trying and trying to fix the border issues for a long time. Even old Ronnie Reagan simply gave up and granted them all amnesty. Reagan had no magic solution, nor did the Bush's, not Nixon, not Carter, not Bill Clinton.
The bottom line is..... as a president you do what you can. You just get by day by day because no matter what, you as president will eventually hand the problem down to the next president. And the next.... And the next....

Listen up tiny brained dick licker, post your sources, show your work, provide evidence that these things you are saying are true. Then I will have a discussion on them with you.

Since you are obviously obtusely slow in the debate arena, I will tell you that your ass is not a valid source of facts dumbfuck.

Then.... lets take the stalemate with the Biden agenda.
As with Obama's term, Biden does not have the majority that he needs. Biden should have the majority technically, however Biden has Joe Manchin to deal with. Republicans never seem to have that dissent from within as does the democrats. Oh sure, republicans have their Mitt Romney's but even the Mitt Romney's fall in line in the end and certainly when it really matters.

Democrats problem are the voters. They need more. Democrats need more democrats in the house, and more democrats in the senate, and serving in the states. And doing THAT is the job of THE VOTERS. Some of the problem is with republicans rigging elections, screwing with the gerrymandering, and out right voter suppression. But still..... all of that is not enough to cause democrats to lose. Democrats just need to VOTE, regardless of restrictions imposed. If republicans take away Sunday voting or drive-thru voting then simply vote on Monday. Or simply get out of your automobile Mr & Mrs democrat and walk inside and VOTE. This isn't ordering a BigMac from the McDonnells drive-thru, you know.... THIS IS VOTING, and.... IS YOUR DUTY as an American. Frankly, thus far republicans have not succeeded at doing anything to actually suppress any vote. You can still vote. You can still get to the polls and vote if one really wants to.

I think you mean "dissent from within".

Though Republicans don't have much decent from within, either.

What does "hides behind the media" even _mean_?

Biden is a bit of a grumpy-old-man, I give you that. He's been incoherent at times, and he's responded with anger to questioning at least once.

But I don't see how that's anything other than normal for US politics - they're all gerontocrats.

And for a Republican to complain about a President becoming 'confused' is just beyond hypocritical. I haven't heard a Republican President (or vice-President) express himself coherently since Eisenhower. Coming out with confused word-salad is clearly a marker of tribal membership for Republicans. Even Reagan at his most lucid was only managing to read out the carefully-crafted words of Peggy Noonan without mangling them. I still remember when he referred to Princess DIana as 'Princess Dave'.

Each successive Republican seems to be worse than the last one in that respect above all. After Trump I expect the next Republican President will be unable to speak any known human language at all, but just communicate with grunting noises and pointing.

Half the shit Reagan said were lines from movies.

I still can't believe a human with a functioning, uninjured brain can submit such an opinion. His admin of choice shuts down Press Briefings altogether if they're not seeding them with plants/fake journalists.

It's like hearing the worst road rager you've ever seen suddenly start lecturing people on how to properly operate vehicles or deescalate. They're just in their own little self-righteous world.

My answer is obviously snarky. What I am concerned about is throughout Trumps presidency his cognizant ability was questioned many times in mainstream media. Wheres that concern with Biden? He can barely string together a coherent sentence without gaffing. He forgets where he is, what he ran for, and continually derails his own conversations mid sentence. He is not well. You can play ignorance of this, but I bet I could provide at least 10 recent videos proving my point.

Setting aside the hilarity of a trumpet thinking he can speak to who is and who is not "well," your problem seems to be your premise is absurd bullshit.

The ignorance here is yours dude, did you not get the memo that false equivalency is just more weak BothSides? Yes, do supply these recent videos. Any with Biden staring at the sun? Telling people wind turbines cause cancer or that covid can be treated with bleach?

When Biden fails his moment of truth with the Montreal Cognitive test (or even has to take one), let us know. Ditto for causing insurrections. You excuse toxic dementia from a sociopath with a penchant for malignant narcissm and cruelty, but Biden's gaffes are just too far huh? Punch yourself some more clown.
